Points 4 dropped ktk mechi mbili,Man City points 3 dropped ktk mechi mbili sio mbaya sana!
‘It’s coming back home’ sina wasi wasi wowote ule!

Only twice in the last 10 years has the top-placed team at Christmas failed to lift the PL Trophy… and it was Liverpool both times.
2008-09 (No.1 at Christmas - Final Position: 2)
20013-14 (No.1 at Christmas - Final Position: 2)
20018-19 (No.1 at Christmas - Final Position 👀)

Alisson: "We believe we can win the league. We've shown in the past that we're good enough and we'll continue to show this in the games we've got to come"

Our pressure is the same," he added. "We take things game by game without worrying about what our opponents are doing.

"Everyone wants to win this league but at Liverpool our concern is winning games and not dropping points.

Liverpool predicted line-up vs Bournemouth – Premier League
(4-2-3-1): Alison; Milner, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Keita; Shaqiri, Firmino, Mane; Salah

And John Aldridge has taken aim at the two midfielders, questioning whether they are good enough for Klopp’s side
Adam Lallana and Naby Keita cannot play together in midfield again, as they are just not up to the job for a title-winning team,” he told the Independent Ireland.

He continues “My first impressions of Lallana when he came to Liverpool were not positive and while he proved me wrong to an extent with some good performances before his recent injury problems, it looks like he is struggling to get back to those levels once again after so long in the treatment room.

“As for Keita, he has not settled at Liverpool and has failed to deliver the performances we were expecting from him, with Klopp and his coaching staff fighting to get him up to speed and still waiting to see if he will be good enough to play in this team.”

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has challenged the Reds to keep the pace with his side after last night’s victory at Goodison Park.

"It's a question for them. We are leaders. Twelve games to play, a lot of points," said Guardiola.

"Now comes a big test, a big goal. Chelsea are an exceptional team who have had seven days to prepare.

"We have to prepare well. It really is a final for us this weekend. If we are able to take these points, it is a huge step forward.

"The reality is we could have been, one month ago, 10 points behind when we played Liverpool.”

Liverpool are not planning on spending big this summer despite the obvious need to bolster an injury-torn squad, writes Paul Joyce for the Times.

Over the last couple weeks, the Reds have really struggled with injuries to key players as defender after defender picked up an issue of some kind.

Joe Gomez is still sidelined after having a second surgery designed to speed up the recovery from his leg fracture suffered against Burnley at the start of December.

Paul Joyce writes: “The plan for Liverpool is not to repeat the heavy spending of previous summer transfer windows but it will be interesting to see whether that view bends.

“Virgil van Dijk needs a reliable player alongside him in central defence.”

My personal view is that Klopp and Michael Edwards have never actively sought out big money deals but responded well to opportunities within an over-inflated transfer market to sign world beaters like Virgil van Dijk and Alisson for what now look like fair prices.
