I think he is not obliged/obligated to clear his name before the public because he is a president's appointee as I said before. If his boss knows the status of his academic certificates (which I guess he knows), we are just wasting our time. We might sue him to the court of law only to find that he has original and genuine certificates. That is why I insist that if someone is serious in pursuing RC Makonda's issue, let him/her first seek correct info from NECTA. A mere hard talk does not help anything.
Concerning the issue of civil servants and fake certificates, I think the issue is clear. It is a bit different from a RC who can easily be appointed and fired by the president. The case of politicians qualifying to vie or be appointed in office is enshrined in our constitution. There is nothing we can legally do about that at least for now.
In a nutshell, whomever wants to go after Makonda for certificates issue, he/she has to first do his/her homework thoroughly. Otherwise, he/she might be surprised to find that RC Makonda has genuine certificates

Evidence from which source? Read the original post. There is video footage of what transpired vividly showing the culprits in action. Is this not sufficient evidence?
