almost whole world has stopped using the imperial system.

scientists use the metric system I.e gram, metre, °C etc because its better and logical.

its the Americans who should change.

if we dare go back to using imperial units just because the Great America uses them, I'll just die. and we might as well go back to using roman numbers.

Not too far from now we may even have drive thru banking.....

American influence is all over the place save maybe for North Korea but I'm sure they do love them some Mickey Mouse or Tom and Jerry.

all I know is the convo was about the necessity for the "Great America" to change in some aspects to be like the rest of the world, and the only argument i heard was "it won't because we're so great and our president makes headlines."

if that was your way of "segueing" then don't blame anyone if they collocate you with the "some heads"

people forget that technology inakuwa, dunia inakuwa kijiji.

its not necessarily kwamba tunakuwa Americanized. mnaweza kuiita Globalization.

maybe one day kutakuwa na lugha moja, lafudhi moja, currency moja, culture moja. MAYBE.

kwanza America imejengwa na watu from different cultures. huwezi kusema tunaiga wamarekani pizza. semeni tunaiga waitaliano basi.
