Dunia sio duara!

Dunia sio duara!

The Socratic method is to be encouraged.

But reinventing the wheel is quite unnecessary.

I hope you posses enough sophistication to digest this nugget to it's fullest.

The devil is in the details.

Ndiyo maana nikakuuliza mungu gani?

Kuna watu wanaabudu jua kama mungu wao.

Hawa wakiniambia.mungu wao yupo siwezi kuwabishia.

First thing first, the earth is not round, it is an oblate spheroid.

Ushawahi kuipiga picha internet na kuhakikisha ipo?

To verify the curvature of the earth, contrary to your premise, one need not leave the earth if one is disposed to use one's imagination, the imagery of the earth is imposed on the moon when juxtaposed with the sun.

This was known since before Aristotle.

Also, large ships with tall masts, when approaching from afar, will have the top of their masts displayed before the main ship, as they would do on a spherical body.

This is standard four regiment, that every 10 year old should know by heart.

What's next? Are you going to deny the internet exists while using it

duh we jamaa kingereza yako ngumuuuuu

hahahaaaa aisee nimefurahi sana kukutana na mtu kaandika kingereza sehemu nyingine sijaelewa maana mimi kwenye jamii yangu ndo natisha kwa ngeli hahahaa

One more justification for yours truly to pontificate with encyclicals to the hoi polloi.

Rabelais would approve.

Albeit to some it will remain Herculean, if not entirely Sisyphian.

Chief, you are a real whiz at your stuffs and in fact an aura where knowledge dwells.

I struggle to caution the modesty of my scope (when not invoking my papal and ecclesiastical capacity), without injecting fake modesty.

I certainly did my homework. And I am still putting in hours per week, dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. Far and above the crisscrossing noise we hear here at JF.

But I feel that I may appear an even bigger fish just because I am swimming in a smaller pond.

In other words, it's not that I am that exalted, more like our collective standards are so low.

I will never forget that day I gave an impromptu lecture about the big bang theory, back in 1995, only to find out that not only my entire class had never heard of the term, but the teacher could not even ask me a single question because I might as well have been speking ancient Greek.

And all this info was publicly available, all one had to do was go to a library/ peruse a few magazines.

With the advent of the internet in it's state today, access to information is exponentially easier, but sometimes I can't help but feel like to some people it feels like it is getting exponentially harder.

Haaa haaa haaa! One more thing, when you go into society, leave behind your own ideas, put on the mask that is most appropriate for the group in which you find yourself.

But of course that is a basic Machiavellian rule.

One ought not overexpose oneself unduly.

I am not going to overtax my cycles on the finer points of zero government with an illiterate zealot country bumpkin.
