habari zisizo rasmi::A S-eek:
striker Loic Remy is being linked with a shock switch to Chelsea, weeks after he failed a medical at
Liverpool.
Goal are reporting that Jose Mourinho's side have made an enquiry for the French international, as a result of Didier Drogba suffering an ankle injury at the weekend.
The length of time Drogba will miss is unclear, and it may not be serious, but the thought that it could be, has reportedly been enough to cause them to consider their options.
The Ivorian being out would leave Fernando Torres as the only back-up for Diego Costa.
Loic Remy almost clinched a move to Liverpool at the end of last month, even travelling to the club for a medical, before
the Reds surprisingly pulled the plug, without publicly citing the reason.
QPR however certainly view Remy as fit enough to contribute this season, and the talented striker is good enough to have attracted attention from Chelsea.
Remy, 27, would be a shrewd signing for Chelsea, at a potential cost of just £8 million, a fee which Liverpool were reported to have agreed, and if he did sign for the club and hit it off for their title rivals, the Reds could have real reason to regret pulling the plug on the transfer.
