inakuwa faida kwa national team ila kwa club haisaidii kitu kutokana na mifumo,usishangae torres,hazard,etoo na lukaku wakizifungia sana timu zao ktk worldcup lakini chelsea inakuwa differ

kweli lakini;

A stylish French defender, Frank Leboeuf was one of the first wave of foreigners to light up the Premier League in the mid-1990s.
Intelligent and composed, Leboeuf won both the World Cup and European Championship while a Chelsea player, and was a regular scorer of penalties and long-range goals during his time with the club which lasted 204 games over five years.
Leboeuf arrived from Strasbourg in the summer of 1996, and would go on to forge an effective partnership with Marcel Desailly in the centre of defence during one of Chelsea's most successful periods.
The FA Cup in 1997 was followed by the League Cup, the Uefa Cup Winners Cup and the Uefa Super Cup a year later, all won with clean sheets, as was the FA Cup again in 2000, the last final at the old Wembley.
Leboeuf returned to France with Marseille in 2001 before finishing his career in Qatar. He has since pursued a career in the film industry.

Mtu mzima FRANK LEBOEUF akicheza kwenye IDARA YA ULINZI kwenye mechi vs AC MILAN champions league. ILikuwa ndani ya SAN SIRO matoeo 1-1. Goli zuri la kusawazisha lilifungwa na kapteni wetu enzi hizo DENNIS WISE jezi nambari 11 mgongoni.

[h=2]RUUD GULLIT[/h]
0,,10268%7E8887514,00.jpg

Just a few men in Chelsea history can be said to have heralded a completely new era at the club but Ruud Gullit was undoubtedly one.
When the former European Footballer of the Year was signed in the summer of 1995 from AC Milan, never before had a player of such world renown arrived at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were making a well-timed push to escape mid-table, trophy-less mediocrity as a new TV age and fashion for the game in England was blooming. Gullit and Mark Hughes, signed soon after, were the big hopes to make that happen.
After just one season during which he played sweeper, in midfield and up front Gullit was already being talked about as a candidate for Chelsea's greatest player. Although league position did not improve from the previous year, the team were unfortunate not to make the FA Cup Final and were clearly going in the right direction, to such an extent that on the final day of the season, the Stamford Bridge crowd implored the club to appoint to the charismatic Dutchman to the newly vacated manager's position instead of the mooted George Graham.
Gullit said yes and oversaw a marvellous period of player recruitment. Although player/manager, his time on the pitch was infrequent as long-existing knee injuries resurfaced, but his side thrilled and at Wembley in May 1997 they beat Middlesbrough 2-0. Gullit became the first overseas and the first black manager to win the FA Cup, and Chelsea's long 26-year wait for a trophy was over.
The following season saw more quality players arrive and results were initially very good, although come the start of 1998 a dip and problems with the team coincided with disagreements on a new contract and the football world was shocked by his sudden dismissal.
Gianluca Vialli, a Gullit signing, took over and the team won the League Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup in the season that remained.
Unflappable on the ball, tall, strong with a great range of passing and a bullet header, when he took to coaching his side played with verve and freedom. Gullit's description 'sexy football' that quickly became famous had not originally been used to describe Chelsea, but it was wonderfully applicable to both the football he played for us and that of the players he managed.

[h=2]EIDUR GUDJOHNSEN[/h]

Eidur Gudjohnsen was one of the important core of the team that spanned the pre and post Abramovich regime.
Eidur's early career was beset by injury problems and it was only after he joined Bolton that he began to show his true potential. After two promising seasons there he joined Chelsea for £4.5m, initially as back up to the existing strike force. Eidur took his chances when given them, notably a goal against Liverpool on his first league start. He finished that season with 13 goals despite being used mostly as a substitute.
In his second season Eidur flourished, forming a prolific partnership with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Together they scored 52 goals and their partnership was at times almost telepathic. Injury problems again flared though and Eidur's form was inconsistent over the following two years.
It was only when Jose Mourinho took over as manager that his career flourished again. Mourinho recognised that Eidur's touch and vision would be suited to a more withdrawn role. In this position he was to contribute greatly to our back-to-back championship successes.
In all, Eidur scored 78 goals in his 263 Chelsea appearances before joining Barcelona in June 2006. He was to receive a fantastic reception from the Chelsea supporters when he returned with Barcelona for a Champions League tie later that year.

STEVE CLARKE

0,,10268%7E8665516,00.jpg

Steve Clarke is the seventh highest appearance in Chelsea's history and one of the most reliable and consistent defenders ever to appear for the club.
Steve was signed from St Mirren for £422,000 in February 1987 and immediately settled into the right-back position which had been something of a problem in recent seasons.
Initially, Steve was an adventurous attacking full-back and he frequently contributed goals and assists. Over the years though he became a more solid and defensively-minded stopper whose great strength was his reading of the game. Towards the end of his career he often played as a centre-half or in a back three.
A popular player, he was voted the supporters Player of Year in 1994, the year we reached the FA Cup final, and there were few players more deserving of being in the team that ended a 26-year wait for a trophy by winning the FA Cup in 1997.
A year later Steve eclipsed that achievement by winning the European Cup Winners' Cup in what turned out to be his 421st and final game for Chelsea.
Steve's contribution to the club continued after his playing days and he was part of the coaching staff when we became champions in 2005 and 2006. He resigned his position in September 2008 to become assistant manager at West Ham United.

Steve Clarke amewahi pia kufundisha timu iitwayo LIVERPOOL FC. SC one of our legends.
