Why Chelsea Can’t Afford to Lose David Luiz
Chelsea’s reason for not offering a contract extension to players over 30-years-old is outdated. David Luiz has started 21 out of 22 games and playing as their most important center-back. He would like to be offered and to sign a new long term contract with bigger than £120,000 salary a week. He brings experience which cannot be replaced with any sort of signing or replacement.
Chelsea’s current centre-back situation is very solid due to a very good relationship created between Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz. He has transformed into a mixture of prime John Terry and Cesc Fabregas all in one. His range of passing is second to none in world football for a centre-back and provides a unique outlet for the Blues. Give him a minimum of 3 years contract because for sure his current quality will last to his mid 30's of football career age. If you concur with me give a like or say something

Maurizio Sarri -

“The bench is not really very short. It's short only for one position at the moment, because I think Hudson-Odoi is improving. In one, two months, he will be at the same level as the other players."

"I hope the same for Ampadu. Playing as a central midfielder in our team is not easy. We need to try and try in training, but I think that he is able to do it.

In the future maybe he can play the Jorginho role”.

”The player who plays in that position usually touches about 120, 130 balls per game, and so I think we need a specialist there."

"I love Anfield. I love the stadium, the atmosphere, I love playing there and I normally score there but this one, this one was an absolute screamer wasn't it?"

Mourinho overall ana makombe 25
Pep overall ana makombe 24 na baada ya kushinda Champions League Mourinho alikuwa anahama timu so alikuwa na chance ya kushinda 4 more trophies (UEFA Super Cup & Club World Cup)

Statistics never lie but liers use statistics

Pep akiwa na possible one of the best team of all time (Barca) ni Mourinho pekee aliweza kuchukua La Liga mbele ya Pep na pia alimfunga Pep akachukua Champions League

Carlo Anceloti alichomzidi Mourinho ni one Champions league trophy but still Mou has more trophies licha ya Carlo kufundisha miaka mingi zaidi ya Mou

Pep might be better than Mou but ni tofauti na sifa unazompa na I wonder unasema hadi Conte/Luis Enrique ni makocha bora kuliko Mourinho.

The Regista, English football's latest alien sighting. Who is a regista? A detailed look at Jorginho, Torreira at Sampdoria, Verratti, Pirlo, Carrick, Leon Brighton, among others. This is a wide coverage so I'll write it as we go a long.

The term "regista" is an italian word which translates to "director". He usually sits infront of a back-4, but unlike the classic DM protecting the back-line [not that a regista isn't involved in defensive duty], a regista's primary role is to dictate the team's offensive play

Guardiola: "We tried in the summer to buy a cover for Fernandinho but the players don't want to come, what can we do. We wait until the end but it didn't happen. The club do the best because they want to provide me with the best team because they want to win too."

Lucas Torreira, the midfield maestro who was touted as next Marco Verratti now looked at as the new Ngolo Kante? That's confusing especially because Verratti & Kante are two completely different types of midfielders. One a regista the other a shuttler/carillero.

Sampdoria employ a diamond midfield formation. Torreira acted as the base of the three man midfield. He was the conductor in their short quick passing build up play. Press resistant with dribbling & a wide passing range meant he could ping a long pass to the STs to hold up play

Offering himself as a pass outlet or fallback when Sampdoria has possession in advanced central/wide areas & immediately counter-pressing high up the pitch incase they lose possession. Here, he may attempt a mistimed comical tackle, those who've seen him tackle can attest to this

On the counter-pressing aspect, & in comparison to Jorginho at Napoli who kept a lot more possession & dominated a lot more games than Sampdoria, obviously, it's important to highlight that only Jorginho won back more possession than Torreira in the middle third of the pitch.

But clearly he's not limited to a deep-lying playmaker role, as a former attacking midfielder(#10) back in Pescara he's been known to make a few late runs into the box and score a couple goals. So, has he been under utilized at Arsenal?
