Kama kuna mchezaji pale Arsenal anajiona anajua mpira wakati hana chochote ni Aaron Ramsey. Huyu jamaa ni Uingereza wake tu (Welsh) vinginevyo hana chochote. Bora walau sio mimi tu mwenye hizi views. hata baadhi ya waingereza wenzake hawamkopeshi:

TV presenter, journalist and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan claimed on Twitter that Aaron Ramsey refused to shake his hand after Morgan previously called the Gunners midfielder an "utter liability". Morgan continuously referred to Ramsey as 'whatshisname' in a series of tweets.

BBC Sport - Football gossip: Hernandez, Depay, Imbula, Hazard, Kane

The two Man of the Match awards from the last 12 that were not won by goalkeepers or Eden Hazard both belong to the captain. JT's ending the season going from strength-to-strength, continuing to play like a man 10-years his own junior.

I'm of the opinion that even if we ignore his stellar defensive play, he deserves the Man of the Match award for calling Arsenal's and Manchester United's play "tippy-tappy."

"Possession and tippy-tappy football's great, but if you are not winning games you're not going to win the league."

-John Terry

Truth.

Back-to-back second place finishes for Azpilicueta, who, just like his captain, has saved his best for last. If Mourinho's rotation pattern holds true, Filipe Luis will get a start on Wednesday. But how do you drop somebody as great as Dave? (Yes, I know Ivanović is the obvious answer, but he's also pretty great.)

Rather inexplicably, Azpilicueta was overlooked for the PFA Team of the Year. That's ok, he's got bigger, more important fish to fry. Like being the best left back in the league (the world?) and being a crucial part of Chelsea's world class defense.

3. WILLIAN - AM 8.2

Take-ons2/3

Before Oscar had to depart with the concussion, Chelsea played a rather unfamiliar and different 4-3-3 formation, all quite fluid but without a recognized striker. Oscar played the closest approximation to one, while Hazard did his Hazard things (though not nearly with as much influence as usually), but it was Willian who made the whole thing work with tireless running, linking, holding up, creating, tackling. It changed a bit after Drogba's introduction restricted Willian to the right wing once again, but overall, it was a tremendous game from Big Willi Style.

Over the winter, Willian had a few questionable performances -- which wasn't ideal since he already divides the fanbase as it is -- but just like the other two above him in this list, he's turned it on lately.

OTHERS:
Courtois (7.5), Cahill (7.7), Ivanović (7.4), Matić (7.7), Fàbregas (7.0), Ramires (7.0), Hazard (7.2), Oscar (7.4)

SUBS:
Drogba (6.3), Zouma (6.3), Cuadrado (6.0)

Chelsea defend FA Youth Cup title

Celebrate good times! Chelsea are back-to-back champions of the FA Youth Cup, and winners of four of the last six editions. Time to add another trophy to the cabinet!

In front of almost 11,000 inside Stamford Bridge (including owner Roman Abramovich), Chelsea U18 added to their 3-1 first leg advantage with a composed 2-1 second leg win. An early goal from Manchester City threatened to make things interesting, but a quick reply from Izzy Brown and then a goal just a minute into the second half from Tammy Abraham settled the deal. It was Abraham's 39th goal of the season in all competitions. (Dominic Solanke has 36.)

Chelsea dominated the midfield (Charlie Colkett, Charly Musonda Jr, and Jeremie Boga all wonderful), were strong in defence (Jake Clarke-Salter especially, but goalkeeper Collins was decent as well), and could've had several more goals were it not for some unfortunate final balls from Solanke and Abraham.

Mourinho: Oscar home after concussion scare

Everything looked pretty rosy after the amusingly boring 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Sunday. Chelsea had moved another match closer to the Premier League title, Eden Hazard had walked away with the PFA Player of the Year award and Jose Mourinho had been busy winding up the Gunners' brigade of whiners. But not everything was perfect -- as the Blues celebrated on the pitch at the Emirates, one of their number was in hospital with a suspected concussion.

Oscar was knocked out of the match (eventually) by a crunching, illegal hit from Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina early in the first half, and despite attempting to play on was eventually replaced at the interval and despatched to hospital. Yes, we can argue with the Chelsea medical staff about whether letting him play that extra half hour was the right call, but the more important question, at least for me, is how he's doing.

I have my doubts that Oscar will feature against Leicester on Wednesday, even if he does travel with the team. With a 10-point cushion and five matches to go, the team is in the happy position of not having to take any risks with the health of its players. Let Oscar get the rest he deserves; the Premier League title is almost certainly heading our way regardless.

Why can't Arsène Wenger ever beat José Mourinho?

Sunday marked the 13th time Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has faced Chelsea manager José Mourinho. It also marked the 13th time Wenger has failed to defeat his Portuguese counterpart

Chelsea's performance during the 0-0 draw at the Emirates was trademark Mourinho. When the Blues visit Premier League clubs with the money and talent to make their afternoon miserable, they sit deeper in their own half, organized and compact, preferring to absorb pressure and unleash furious counters from time to time.

This is the second straight season they've ground out a scoreless point at Arsenal, and last fall, they managed 1-1 draws at both Manchester clubs.

Mourinho has proven to be a master tactician, but unlike Wenger, his tactics include knowing when to abandon them. He's never been ashamed to muddy up a game and grind out a result to overcome talent gaps, or injuries, or hostile environments. While he's never acknowledged the strategy publicly, he's never really mounted more than a feeble defense of it, either.

On the other hand, while Wenger has also proven to be a mastermind of the game, he's acquired a reputation as being stubborn in his ways. When challenged on this point, he's frequently dug his heels deeper into the pitch.

At least in part, that explains why Arsenal has failed to score in all five games against Chelsea since Mourinho returned to the Premier League in 2013. As good as Wenger is at managing egos and approach, there has been a disparity in terms of the quality of the players on the pitch.

And Mourinho says the Professional Footballers' Association's Team of the Year would not be good enough to win the Premier League title - because it does not feature enough of his players

Mashabiki km nyie mnatupa shida sn kuwafafanulia...hao Arsenal walishambulia wapi sasa?

Je uliuangalia mpira? Bila shaka we ni shabiki wa arsenal anayejifanya kuwa shabiki wa chelsea! We created more and dangerous chances than them, we had more shots on goal than them! We suffered more from referee's human error than them! two clear pernaties which could have killed the game!
