Just because CUF or NCCR never did it, it doesn't mean CDM shouldn't do it, does that make sense? It is the job of political party across the globe to draw undecided voters to its side, there is nothing wrong with that. However by common sense opposition parties should have the common enemy, the ruling party, this has never been the case with ACT, and nothing can change that.
It's Because CUF and NCCR were mature enough to realise politics is not a zero sum game. You can choose negative tactics or postive ones and it saddens me that CDM has chosen the negative part. And even bigger hypocrysis will come when CCM applies negative tactics and CDM cry wolf. Remember how CDM used to complain when CCM related CDM to violence, CUF to religious ties and other negative stuffs?we both denounced CCM for that. Majority of Tanzanians don't like negativity & Violence if CDM ever realizes this they will win elections so easily.
You seriously can not have your cake and eat it. If CHADEMA Succeeds in having a cake an eat it, it sure will become a textbook example. But be wise and remember, if it's too good to be true, it probably ain't so.
By forcing Dr. Slaa to be the presidential Candidate is that what work is? Every member of UKAWA should have equal say in nomination of presidential contender, and by starting to force CDM agenda, this will not end well. Mark my words. I said this before and i will say it again, as long as UKAWA members are not committed philosophical wise in pushing out CCM, i do not see them as viable replacement for CCM. How can you force out a party as well established as CCM when you are busy fighting 1 year old parties?
CDM are not busy fighting with ACT, it is simply not true. Nobody has forced Dr. Slaa to be anybody, that's purely a mere conjecture. Nobody is forcing CDM's agenda in UKAWA, that's an ill belief. I think you can gauge UKAWA members' commitment by what they have achieved as a union that will clearly explain the stage of success there are in. UKAWA have their own eligibility criterias in getting their candidates all the way to presidency. If you are implying that there is no ‘equal say in nomination' in UKAWA you are falsely misleading people.
Majority of threasd started by CHADEMA bigwigs here to denounce ACT simply says otherwise.Worse even CDM officials like Tumaini Makene has fallen into this trap. I could say loud noise makers like Yericko just write about ACT for the sake of it, but when CDM director of PR comes out in full attack of ACT, it pretty much sums up the mood in CDM. That was a mistake.
About CDM beliefs in UKAWA, you keep contradicting yourself, you just said CDM asked UKAWA members to denounce Zitto, now you are claiming CDM is not forcing its agenda, see the contradiction here? you sound like World Bank telling the government to not pick an inside contractor to run BRT, then the same World Bank saying it's not meddling in Tanzania internal affairs. Choose to have a cake or eat it buddy.
As for UKAWA members being equal, you already contradicted yourself below by claiming CDM is the biggest party.what says of CUF that actually has an incumbent VP and ministers in Zanzibar?/facepalm
Well, just because you see it as such doesn't mean it is like that. CHADEMA have make the ‘loudest noise' because this guy used to occupy a leadership position in their party. Nevertheless CDM has communicated its reasons to other UKAWA members, refer to what Lipumba said about Zitto's CDM exit.
And this is exactly CDM mistakes, Zitto ni m*vi ya kale CHADEMA. he is a nobody there at the moment. is CCM making a fus of Dr. Slaa because he used to be their member?is TLP making such fus because LEMA used to be with them?what about NCCR with Tundu Lisu? see a pattern here? politicians have a choice to work anywhere they like. just like you do not expect your past employer to keep yapping about you to your new employer.
In red i have addressed that as an interference of UKAWA running intended to instil CDM influence over other members.
A lot of statements have been said by CDM members about Chairmanship position in CDM, something which propelled ZZK to leave after he missed it. I suggest you make references, I am not going to dwell on personal issues between ZZK and Mbowe, it is obvious that Zitto is having this fight with Mbowe because of the position. Again just because you don't see it, does not mean it is not there.
The fact is ACT has been so meticulously established to strangle the relishing coalition of the opposition parties in Tanzania, ahead of the 2015 general election.
I seriously won't make references to Mbowe-Zitto Saga about CHADEMA chairmanship. Have you forgotten what happened, when Zitto ill-advisedly announced the running for Chairmanship back in 2009? It coincides perfectly well with the timeframe Zitto began to be toxic in CDM. we have been here observing quietly, how Zitto changed from the prodigy son to an outsider deserving of all bad names. I remember in the running to 2010 general election, Dr. Slaa proudly told every Tanzanian that Half of TISS are reporting to HIM!!Nobody is calling Slaa a Traitor. Imagine Zitto saying that!Same Zitto has been blamed by CDM to work with TISS, simply because he had allegedly been in contact with Zoka. Now If the first premise of Half CDM reporting to Slaa, didn't that make a certain percentage report to Zitto as he was Slaa number 2?see the mudslinging? So either Slaa was telling every Tanzanian a Lie, and no TISS was reporting to Him, or Zitto was innocent, simply because TISS was actually working with CDM through the patry secretary office, in which Zitto was a deputy. I keep saying this, CHADEMA has some good moments but way to many flaws and contradictions. Some of us have dedicated quite sometime trying to straighten the ship through social commentary, but all falls on deaf ears.
The fact in red is another contradiction i see CDM using to hide their blunders!! for whatever reason, HUKUMU ya Zitto ilipelekwa mbele ili awahi kufukuzwa!!Zitto angeendelea Kuwa CDM hadi leo hii ACT ingekuwa a no big deal party. mara baada ya kumfukuza kwa nderemo na vifijo as evidenced by your chief whip Tundu Lissu celebratory Tweets and media comentary with Mnyika by his side, they all proudly said ZITTO was NO LONGER a CDM member!!funny enough they were all wrong!since parliamentary and party procedures were not followed. If i were Zitto at that point i wouldn't force to be in CDM and an alternative political party was his only choice.CDM still had a chance to keep Zitto Dormant for as long as possible even with active mediation. this could have bought CHADEMA a lot of time to foucs on elections. Instead you thought he was as disposable as Mwigamba and such. Well you learned a hard lesson, and now you are back complaining ACT being sent by CCM while You are the one who created this monster from the get go. You can spread such cojones to your simpletons but not to anyone who followed closely what was going on
I get insulted because of what I believe, I am used to that. Zitto is trying so hard to clean himself with regards to this traitor issue, he created a mess in CDM, they named him a traitor, which is his problem.
There is no doubt that excessive force have been used consistently against CDM even in peaceful political demonstrations. The ruling party hates opposition so much, so much that they kill Tanzanians for no reason. People have been killed, and you are here talking nonsense. Nobody resorts to violence as a way to gain power even though they get branded as ‘terrorists'. What you call ‘selective justice' just show how your memories are short.
I think Zitto has moved on, and i haven't heard him discuss about his conflict with CDM,and he has consistently said all is behind with him. Where is this Zitto trying to clean himself up come from?
CDM is not the first party to see the unprofessional side of our police force. Thi started a while back, from Mrema days When all we were listening on his rallies were mabomu, mabomu!we called him mzee wa mabomu? you don't remember that?well probably you weren't around the political scene then.
Regardless of what you think of me, i will never advice anyone to demonstrate against a police force that is politically influenced by CCM, and expect professional police handling. Violence and demonstrations are choices people make. Seen any CUF demonstration lately?well guess what , they learned the hard way that being Ngangari with some one with a SMG is not the wisest of choices even if you are absolutely right. Ever heard a quote," i have a gun so am always right?". This is a problem with CDM, we have advised them so many times that taking CCm by force is counter productive. But well, some politicians just like the sound of a few people injured. The lives and blood of Tanzanians lost through political demonstrations are in the hands of CDM leaders and CCM. NO one can avoid the blame. You don't cry BOMB in a US bound flight and expect civil reaction.
Any rulling party anywhere would like to preserve their power, the same way Mbowe and CDM bigwigs are fighting ACT to keep their dominant position. Power is one of the worst thing that you can give to a human being. When you deal with a person with power, you have to be extra smart otherwise you bare all the consequences.
Apparently i have chosen to not believe that Zitto who has worked tirelessly for the better of Tanzania is working with CCM to diminish CDM. If CCM wanted to diminish CDM they should be crazy for choosing a chap who has brought them to their knees countless times. What i fail to believe is CHADEMA theatrics about Zitto being a traitor and never produce anything tangible. When KAFULILA accused RUGEMALILA, we saw transactions from Mkombozi account that were verified independently. I expect same from ZITTO accusations, not some lame made up emails. Why is it so difficult for CHADEMA to produce indisputabe evidence against Zitto, while it hates him so much?looks like you are the one who needs to check your complete belief in what CHADEMA is telling you.
What you choose to believe in is up to you, what I believe is up to me. You don't want any evidence even it is provided, those e-mails, you call them ‘lame made up', and you will give names to every piece of evidence shown. People who don't have any convincing power to make other people to understand them, always have this problem. Just live with your beliefs, that's all.
Problem is you have not provided any evidence. Ever heard of indisputable evidence? I am a veteran Professional Engineer with loads of experience in communication systems, when i tell you those emails are a joke i am absolutely 100% sure in what i am talking about.
Give me your email now and i will send you loads of emails from JK, OBAMA and any worldwide figure you might think of on top of your hear. There is a reason we use end to end encryption in workplaces to secure emails, because more often than not man in the middle attack can intercept communication between two individuals without them ever know what is going on. I suggest you watch Citizen 4 to understand the concept of privacy, security and the lengths Snowden went thorugh to make sure that he was communicating with who he thought he was communicating with.
I couldn't find an easier way to explain why those emails are ---- but this explains in layman terms what
What Those Emails that CDM claims are related to ZITTO and such can be created by softwares downloaded for free on the internet.
see here
I am appalled that an educated person would fall for such simple tricks.., so how many $$$ have you send to those Nigerian princes so far stuck with inheritance they can't claim?
You can bullshit me about a lot of things but NEVER bullshit me on Communication Systems.EVER
If you think everything is not fine, that's you, you have the right to believe in anything. CDM won constituencies where they never had candidates in the first place, they've won constituencies in places for example Mbozi West where CCM had all the local government seats. You see CCM chased their No.7 (Mr. Hassan Nassor Moyo) for being a traitor. This happens, Zitto is not a special case, and it is only empty headed people who think Zitto has any significant influence.
Good. I am frustrated that when CCM was at their lowest lows, All the opposition could focus on were petty issues. CCM chased Moyo, do you see JK (CCM Chairman) giving rallies denouncing him?do you see them asking other parties to deny him podium?do you see each and every CCM supporter diarrhea-ing all the petty things about him? You see? Right there is the difference between CDM and CCM. One is a mature party and another one keeps making rookie mistakes.
Although CDM would have been better without kicking him out,and found a way to work with him, I personally support Zitto getting kicked out of CDM for i think the differences in Opinions grew so wide at the end. What i do not support is CDM behavior on the matter.
If you are not someone from CCM or ACT, then where are you from? I don't like having these debates with people without stance, I'd like to discuss with someone with stance and not ACTCCM disguised individual.
Call me independent. Call me someone tired of CCM but not impressed by any of our parties. I am a very hard to please chap. If you don't like that that's not my problem.
‘Blanket apology' for ‘blanket apology', do you even think it makes sense? If you think CHADEMA should offer an apology, then you are not thinking straight.
I am thinking absolutely straight. This situation has gotten to this point because Mbowe believed he was superior to Zitto and Zitto thought he was not inferior to Mbowe, reason for Zitto wanting to vie for CDM chairmanship. If you think CDM did not make a single mistake or do something they should not have done with regards to handling of their former senior leader who had worked hard for CDM for 2 decades then you are an example of everything that is wrong at CDM now.
Everyone there thinks they are Angels who are never wrong, and it's their way or the highway. Unfortunately, i have known a few chaps from Kigoma, and i don't know what it is, but people from Kigoma absolutely don't like to back down.Especially when they know they are right. I was surprised Zitto offered the apology and put the past behind him. In politics that was 1 to Zitto and 0 to CDM whether you agree or not.
CDM is the largest opposition party in UKAWA, that's a fact. There is nothing wrong with CDM saying they don't want him. Again it is not a must for ACT to join UKAWA, they can start their own union with other opposition parties. If CDM were unable to incorporate others, they wouldn't be in UKAWA in the first place.
That's not how coalitions work,in an ideal situation CDM can say they don't want ACT and ACT can still join if the other members do do not object. But we both know that Democracy is recently not CHADEMA's Strong suit.It just like to issue orders that must be obeyed because it's the biggest opposition party in Tanzania.
