In short, this is a World Wide Web, you can’t live or survive in isolation, the economy are interdependence, we have to concentrate on our core fundamentals and our strength, see what we are doing wrong and fix it, we MUST be CRITiCS to our own self, the economic policy should be leading the way and NOT politics, but unfortunately politics are poisoning the country to the detrimental of the country. The economy fundamentals are always right, you can’t cheat it, fool it or playing around with it, it is just TOO strong, it will bite you!
It is like playing with MATH! How can you stupidly believe yourself than the numbers, the stats, the rules and formulas of MATH, and that’s economy, it is simple as that! You can’t lie to it or worst still lie to yourself.
Or worst still putting people to jail because they question your inadvertently inadequacy on economy fronts.
You can’t be rogue in economy without being smart circumnavigate your way in this ugly ugly world, it needs strong head, smartness and wit! You have to be sharp in your game at get go!
As aspiring trader, I learnt that lesson a while back, I give you an example, I don’t like what acacia mining has done to the economy, it was unfair deal made out of corruption Republic back in the day and Mh Rais is right to angry, he has seen it first hand, it was a bad deal, but fortunately people like myself we are trying to make the best out of it, invest in shares buying low and sell it high, and that’s my smart revenge! I work with economic fundamentals and not with my EMOTIONs!
I guess the government won’t like the Tanzanians buying shares in Acacia mining but the economy say otherwise, and this is just personnel perspective, showing that if you remove emotions and work with FuNDAMENTALS personnel approach and likewise as a country you will get out of the ditch and deep water.
Not other way round, painting a rosy picture, forcing media to roll on , forcing others to bide by your way but No Other way, it has never been a better way of steering the country.
The perfect example, the tweak of numbers punched by lone employee at Bloomberg thousands of miles away, causing tremor in Tanzania, can we all stop and think for a second!, how many people in Tanzania knows Bloomberg and let alone knows what they are jobs are? A just a private institute and not even a government apparatus, but has such a STRONg effect in shores of Tanzania affecting a price of kilo of domestic product like Sembe to an innocent consumer as far as Kigoma, of which probably 99.9% don’t know what the hell Bloomberg is, let alone a lone employee of that company.
And that’s should enough to bring reality to Mh Rais!
It should be a cause of concern! He might be fighting an economic war, but I honestly like my President and I pray everyday he succeed and I believe we all are, but please,
“usitumie bumbuki kuulia Panya ndani ya nyumba” work smart, surround yourself with the real honest people, who can tell you the truth when it hurts, the economists, and less yes sir, not those who are bowing to you! I know the latter is your personnel preference but believe me, they are the ones who are dragging your presidency and the country to a quagmire!
Much love!
