There is no building under construction in Dar, that's a fact. Even proposed building haiko. Nairobi alone kuna several 20+ floors coming up.

There is no any big infrastructure or meaningful public project in Nairobi, which the GoK is undertaking, all those buildings are privately owned, apart from few jobs and taxes, has less impact to lives of majority of Kenyans/Nairobians.

Affordable housing project is bigger than anything happening in whole of Tanzania. Wayiaki way is getting expanded to 8-12 lanes, Express way is on its infant stage, Ng'ong road is getting expanded, commuter rail rehabilitation, etc. There are so many projects in Nairobi.
