You want to attract diplomats and conferences in Dodoma but Kigali is a step ahead and they're even getting loans to build queer things like hotels and arenas. Now you've seen "failed banana republic" Kenya that has other issues as a seemingly soft target on transit business forgetting we have small transit business to landlocked countries that mainly fall on your side. You keep forgetting our private sector and citizens are way robust than any country around. Just look at the input from Kenyans in the diaspora or the service and manufacturing sector. I look at Tanzania's map sometimes and salivate; 5 landlocked countries, countless tourist destinations, peaceful country, beautiful Zanzibar, the long coastal stretch and the minerals. But still subpar performance on human and economic development.
