Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

You misinterpreted my quote, I said this region as in EAC, Ethiopis is on a whole new lever and I am aware of that. My point is, with our railways systems and the fact that we are still planning on constructing the port of Bagamoyo, kaeni mkao wa kula, we're not playing.
The problem you guys talk thinking SGR and a couple of fancy buildings will change your fortunes overnight. You have no idea of what is happening in Kenya besides politics and loans which you guys are fed on the headlines daily. Tanzania is a great country but it fails to leverage it's opportunities. Like no one is criticizing the government taking up projects that have no economic benefit hata kama it's with internal revenues. You just praise it because you have been told it's good. That cash can be used to subsidize a sector like your airline and make your country a transit hub like ETH or subsidize manufacturing to make your products competitive in the region. You want to attract diplomats and conferences in Dodoma but Kigali is a step ahead and they're even getting loans to build queer things like hotels and arenas. Now you've seen "failed banana republic" Kenya that has other issues as a seemingly soft target on transit business forgetting we have small transit business to landlocked countries that mainly fall on your side. You keep forgetting our private sector and citizens are way robust than any country around. Just look at the input from Kenyans in the diaspora or the service and manufacturing sector. Even that failed government is doing major things hata tukipiga mdomo social media.
I look at Tanzania's map sometimes and salivate; 5 landlocked countries, countless tourist destinations, peaceful country, beautiful Zanzibar, the long coastal stretch and the minerals. But still subpar performance on human and economic development.

With your meagre geopolitics the omani arabs still controll 90% of your economy you have no audacity to even address a herd of sheep.the average tanzanian is living in the bare minimum that life can offer.......you are a least developed country in short.
The reality is 99% of Kenyans including their Leaders don’t know anything beyond their Boarder, (imagine having someone like Sonko Leading you lol )
I can justify this, and this is one of the good reasons Magufuli wins deals with all EA countries now, he knows geopolitics and everything around...
I gave you one reason above, and If I may ask you again, Why is Kenya losing her men fighting alshabaab? Who is funding Al shabaab? if only your drunkard uhuru ever asked this question he’d immediately withdraw the troops in Somalia, but Kenya, their Leaders and citizens are all half brained, all they know is stealing.

Man if we swap countries with Tanzania we can surpass south Africa in 10 years......tanzanians ndio wamelalia ubongo ilhali 95% of their country is arable and receives reliable rainfall not forgetting their minerals and strategic position

Run the region na udaku ama? unasahau Kenyan service sector is nearly everywhere on sub-saharan africa? will you build overnight like they way you want to build a city? I'd bet on landlocked Ethiopia but not Tz. Si chuki bali ni facts. Instead of building ghost cities, they are putting their money in SEZ's and giving investors every supporting infrastructure to set up shop. Their power is also subsidized to 3 cents, how much do you guys charge? us we can lose out on manufacturing because our minimum wage n power is higher. In fact we are waiting for power from your gas. That's how friendly Kenya is. Ethiopians are serious about everything and not focusing on petty geopolitical competitions. Kupiga kifua muhimu lakini hizo nchi za ndani hatuna biahara kubwa za usafiri nao isipokuwa ndugu zetu wa Uganda who take more than 80%. Interestingly, the transit cargo volumes more than doubled in the last one year. LAPSET is only going to supplement the ports used by ETH and SSD while also reducing burden on MSA port. Their businesses will pick whichever is convenient. They have Djibouti, Port Sudan and Somali port. Already ETH is completing it's section of road to Moyale, we have already done ours. We are also quietly doing Kitale - SSD road. You won't know about that because you will focus on opinion pieces from busybodies who have vested interests
Still u have over 500 km of unpaved road to Lamu port!

We did not go begging for it on our knees. It was out of their own thinking. and it's not like we do not produce those good items. We only had a deficit due to erratic weather conditions
