Kenyan Cities are just out of this region. Mombasa is by far ahead of every 2nd City in EAC and even 1st Cities like Kampala,Bujumbura and I maybe Kigali. Its just that Mombasa is not captured mostly so people asume it.

Kwa barabara dar imechapwa na Mombasa. Dar imeishindia Mombasa towers peke yake

Kweli. But Mombasa na Nairobi kuna mahali zilikuwa stand still, zimeamka majuzi tu. I expected by now Mombasa to look like how Nairobi is today and Nairobi much much better than any City in Africa but due to problems of the past the rate of growth seemed to have reduced greatly. Same to the GDP. If Kenya had enjoyed peace all throughout the end of 20th century and the 1st 10 years into the 21st Century to date with low corruption, sahii niko 100% sure GDP ingekuwa 120+bln. Projects being done today could have been completed 5years ago. But I'm glad we are making a comeback.
