Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

CRDB Bank, the biggest bank in Tanzania made a profit of 64 Bn Tzsh in 2017. That is an equivalent of 2.8 billion Ksh
Banks profit dip in 2017 as challenges extend

In the 2nd quarter of the same year 2017 thay is May to August , KCB made a net profit of ksh 10.2 billion
That is 5 times the profit the of a whole financial year of the largest bank in Tanzania.
KCB posts Sh10.2 billion in second quarter net profit

KCB is not even the most profitable bank in Kenya.
And you have the guts to speak foul of KCB. We are in 2 different worlds my brother and FYI to stall means it's not growing, it doesn't mean that's a loss. 19.4 billion profits in only 2 months of 2018 😀😀

That's a typical Tanzanian speaking. Uelewa wenu ni finyu sana. 15 billion Tanzania shillings is equivalent to 750 million Kenya shillings. KCB makes that kind of money in about 2-3 days in profits so it's just a drop in the ocean to them. Talking of profits, would KCB and Equity still be operating in Tanzania if they weren't making profits there? That's common sense. And where do you think they are taking these profits? I need not repeat myself. If I do business in your home and make a profit of 100 shillings and give you 20 shillings as appreciation who is benefting more between the two of us? Najua kitu inawauma ni kwamba KCB is making profits out of poor Tanzanians and investing the money back home.It is not the biggest bank in this region by mistake

Achana na hawa watu😀
The Tanzanian market has emerged as most favourable for subsidiaries of Kenyan banks in East Africa, accounting for 35.1 per cent of the total profits drawn from their regional presence...

...
KCB Group, which is the region’s largest bank by assets, also saw its customer deposits increase marginally by one per cent to $4.82 billion weighed down by hyperinflation in South Sudan.

[that's billion dollars not kenya shillings]

Tanzania is most profitable for Kenyan banks

This shows you where the money is.

Of course you bring big money to BOT more than 30 billion for free, then you bring loans to Tanzanians, then you bring employment to Tanzanians, then you bring more money circulatory system and making our end economy bigger than yours while you are still poor

But Tanzania can't give you all that we invest firs home
But is your economy bigger?

Hehehe how much profit kcb make in Tanzania, don't bring figures of Kenya, after all we need investment, many foreign investments are doing the same but we still encourage them to invest in Tanzania.

What makes me happy is you are giving free money to BOT, employment, taxes, loans, mortgage payment, and operational costs to Tanzanian firms by your own costs but meanwhile Kenya is worst in unemployment rate in africa but still other international banks are entering Kenyan market.

For my observations kcb doesn't make even in top 15 largest banks in Tanzania, you are taking just a peanut, I cannot talk about equity because I knew it's existence in Tanzania from you today but their cash in bot is well working for Tanzanians as well.
