More Kenyans are booked in Arusha hotels than Locals on a typical weekend. Tanzanias have very little or no disposable income hence their domestic tourism depends almost entirely on foreigners . That’s the opposite of Kenya . Facts!

There is nothing like domestic tourism in bongolala. No one has the money to spend on leisure.
I saw the same thing in Arusha.
Even in clubs, despite the beer being dirt cheap, only the tables with Kenyans had big money bottles.
Poor Bongolalas were hanging on to their one beer.

I found out last year .. my cousin video called me from Arusha … the entire hotel was occupied by Kenyans .. you could hear our “ sheng” all over the pool area … Kenyans also own hospitality industry all over Northern Tanzania. Without Kenya their North tourism circuit would die … ( Kilimanjaro climbing alone in not enough to sustain the regional economy)…

No real big brands in Tanzania whereas Kenya has many
