And you can even fill 60k stadium at the bush if football business is thriving, for example Mwanza has a stadium(CCM KIRUMBA) around 40k although its an old stadium but has always taken full house when matches are played there

This was a honest non-biased opinion as I am looking forward for the 3 countries to successfully host the event, but kama kawaida umeona unitusi. If Tanzania or any of us fail to deliver, then we will all be a laughing stock to other regions and worldwide, do you think they will credit one of us??

I am more concerned about Tanzania political stability than Kenya’s at the moment… They should worry how things will be down there in 2027 instead of focusing on Kenyan Politics.

I have been to the location, the project is quite remote. It will neet a lot of investment in road infrastructure which had not began the last time I was there.

I still don't understand why Tanzania decided to build that stadium in the middle of nowhere. Nimeona hiyo video nikashangaa how desolate and deserted that place looks.

Does it mean they couldn't find land somewhere within Arusha town to build the stadium? That place looks scary af!!

No matter how they try to justify it, still doesn’t make sense. the place has to be easily accessible with built up roads/rail, with the basic amenities like a shopping center with hospitals,hotels,entertainment spots, etc. In the west, stadiums are set up right at the city or within the metro. Closer home, fellow SADC member SA can teach us something especially having hosted a global event .
Check out the maps for all the stadiums used in 2010. No serious country builds a stadium in the jungle,Its only jokers who build a stadium in the bush so that there will be developments sprouting up around it. Reverse thinking alafu they come to school us.

Beatrice Chebet was the world’s obvious fans choice for Female Athlete of the Year but World Athletics organization probably wasn’t ready to dish out both awards to a single country.

Kenya won 3 other awards at same ceremony in Monaco.
Marathon Athlete of the year : Seb Sawe
Rising Star of the year: Edmud Serem
Community award of the year : Ruth Jepchumba
On a side note a Tanzanian was a nominee for Marathon male of the year . He finished second in votes .
