Westlands is a construction zone at the moment. Just look at this picture you posted. . When all those skyscrapers are done , then the roads will be taken care of . I guarantee you that . Right now it’s not necessary with all the heavy earth equipment riding back n’ forth. As a matter of fact, all of Kenyan cities and towns are a construction site .

The original expressway deal was for the same company to fix the lower road since they were expected to heavily contribute to its damage with their materials and equipment. And surely they did. But somebody saw an opportunity to eat and somehow a new contractor for the lower road was brought in and you know the rest . Unfortunately since corruption was involved from the beginning, the new government powerbrokers decided it was their turn to eat. I am sure Murkomen has all the answers to what happened.

It's sad state of affairs. Corruption is crippling this country

Hii issue ya magorofa hua inawauma sana. Na bado! Do you know how many are in the pipeline in Westlands alone? More than 20 building projects over 20 floors and above (majority are 30+ floor buildings like this one I have shared below). That is just Westlands alone. In the next 3-4 years, sijui mtasema nini when all these projects are completed

Talking of other projects, show me any city in Tanganyika with a commuter rail project ukiondoa Dar is slum. You are talking about projects while this was launched just recently and we just kept quiet about it.
