Did a comparison based on per capita income between the top regions/counties in Kenya and TZ. Per capita income is a good indicator of wealth per individual.

Conclusion: TZ has a long way to go. Only Dar would make it in a combined top 10 behind NRB,MSA, NAKS and NYERI.

Nini husumbua TZ with all the resources at their disposal? Methinks the education system there needs a complete overhaul.

√ Kenya: Sh4.3 trillion
√ Tanzania: Sh2.8 trillion
√ Uganda: Sh2.6 trillion
√ Ethiopia: Sh2 trillion

It does not make sense for Kenya's budget to bigger than Tanzania when TZ has a higher Land Area, People live everywhere, higher Population, more Roads to maintain, more hospitals, more Projects done from the exchequer.

Kenya has the highest Public Debt in the region.
If you look at the TOTAL Projects in Tanzania and Kenya in the last 23 years, there is no comparison with Tanzania.
Tanzania is far ahead.

But in that period, Kenya's Debt grew to double Tanzanias.

So are we more productive than Tanzania?
Or we are simply living on Debt? Which is Fools Paradise?
Today, Loan repayment is given as the excuse.
Kenya has consistently been having a higher budget compared to Tanzania.
But it started ballooning from Kibaki times.
We never finance Projects from the Exchequer.

Per capita income isn't a realistic mode of measuring the territory wellbeing, I argue you to observe this scenario of a certain interior village in a remote region of Tanzania, just assess provision of basic necessities like clean water, electricity, housing, economic activities, schools, faith infrastructures etc, of course due to their small population in comparison to their area they will fall under a sorry state by using per capita income perimeters but in reality they have better life way suitable compared to your top tier caunties on per capita.
