Lots of students were moved especially those under corporate studies to UDSM… but it was for crack down reasons ( due to university students support for the coup) and every student was a suspect. They had to run for their lives . Nyerere was good hearted man. Plus UDSM was cheaper than UoN and Makerere ( Uganda) anyways .
