First off, What business would a commercial airliner be doing on a military airbase, how corny are you? Talk about a C-5 Galaxy or a C-17 Globemaster then we can talk.

Unless he meant Laikipia Airbase which was upgraded and expanded to accommodate even larger transport planes… btw American military jumbo jets don’t require long runways for landing and take off except strategic Nuclear bombers for obvious reasons….. Globemaster and super galaxy are made technologically for short runways so as to land any part of the world if needed…. Exceptions are Stratofortress ( world’s deadliest nuclear bomber) and Lancer ( fastest heaviest Nuclear bomber )…

Maybe yours is a bit wider but length is no difference…You can see the new runway built at LAB …plus LAB is much modern with facilities as a base and incorporates even British Nyati Barracks… Ngerengere is just a runway and a few structures along it …Google Earth never lies… zoom for yourself

LAB is a huge modern military facility that consists of various squadrons including British military personnel barracks within the LAB land … So Kenya Air Force does not use Nyati Barracks but they donated the land where it’s situated hence is considered as a part of the massive military facility. Infact Kenya Air Force and British Army are neighbors. Now I will wait for your next argument… how can an Army base be inside an Air Force facility?.. waiting for your ignorance to download…😄😄
