Why is Kenya involved in matters concerning the western hemisphere? That is not your problem, the US doesn't want to send its troops to Haiti because of the backlash it would get, so they find one of its vassal state (kenya) to do its bidding. You think we don’t know that… before Kenya agreed to do the dirty work of cleaning up Haiti ( and you are right it was a US initiative)… we had a long sit down and negotiations with the US about the mission… when I saw the kind of foreign influence and logistical support we are getting, I was ok with it with the buck value ..I only hope that kind of technology will be transferred back to our forces including KDF….this will also give Kenya a leverage in future negotiations with the US on matters of security especially modernization of the Kenya Air Force fleet…And I think it’s part of the deal….Anyways let me not jinx the mission… Tutaongea badaye…Why is Kenya involved in matters concerning the western hemisphere?
