You are absolutely right that homelessness in America has shot to a record high. but saying that those are Americans is a big joke. People from Central and South America, Eritrea, Somalia, India, Philippines, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, China, South East Asia...all over the world are filling the streets of American cities. So you want the US government to provide housing to all those immigrants? Check live videos on the record number of illegal immigrants crossing the Mexican border into America daily. And for your information, after seeking asylum, the US government shelters them and gives them a few dollars to at least keep them going.
