Although a small segment of Tanzanians with secure access to employment in the public and business sectors enjoy a relatively high standard of living, the vast majority of Tanzanians live in poverty. Indeed, the United Nations Development Programme 's (UNDP) human development index (HDI) listings, which arranges countries according to their overall level of human development, ranks Tanzania 156th out of a total of 174 nations. The HDI, a composite index (one that assesses more than one variable) that measures life expectancy at birth, adult literacy rate, school enrollment ratio, and GDP per capita , is indicative of a country's general social and economic well-being. As such, Tanzania's HDI ranking demonstrates that the country is one of the poorest and least developed in the world.
Under the socialist policies of Julius Nyerere , the Tanzanian government focused heavily on achieving social
equity through the development of a strong health and education sector. Inequality in the early years of Ujamaa was mainly the result of the colonial legacy in which some peasants were connected to the cash crop export economy while others were not. Those that lived in areas favorable for cash crop production enjoyed a slightly higher standard of living than their subsistence peasant

Bado swali langu linabaki palepale, wakati ninyi mnatoa subsides kwa secondary school, huku Tanzania elimu yote ni bure toka primary hadi secondary, na karibu wanafunzi wote wa University wanapata Government loan, kwanini Tanzania yenye uchumi mdogo inaweza ila Kenya haiwezi?
About secondary education,
1. The government has been trying it's best to provide quality education. Quality doesn't come cheap,(you can relate to that by looking up on Google the top countries by literacy level in Africa)
Therefore they have to produce the best teachers, who need a good pay. (teachers in Kenya earn more than in Tanzania.)
Which is why up to now, there hasn't been absolutely free secondary education in Kenya, (ksh7,000 per year is very affordable for most Kenyans anyways so it's almost free)
Starting Next year, secondary education will be free.
2. Tertiary education in Kenya is very cheap for regular students (JAB sponsored) they pay around ksh 12,000 - 20,000 per semester depending on the field of study.
Now all students can secure a HELB loan for both JAB(government sponsored students) and PSSP(self sponsored students) making tertiary education close to free...

Tunaomba report ya quantitative data and statistics, hii ni qualitative information, is not specific and not measurable, nchi zote hizi ni masikini, ila kiwango cha umasikini wa kipato ni tofauti sana, Kenya kutokana na mfumo wenu wa uchumi, wananchi wengi wanabaki kuwa wasindikizaji tu, ndiyo sababu watu 10,000 wanamiliki karibu uchumi wote, ninyi wengine mnawashangilia tu, hamna mnachokipata..Majority of Kenyans are foreigners in their own country..

My friend, don't confuse yourself between literacy and quality education, they are two different, by the way Kenya's quality of education is very bad especially in private schools and universities, this is according to tge report from Kenya ministry of education, this is the reason why government of Kenya decided to stop registering any new University and concentrate on improving of quality of education among Universities

Kenya pays higher wage to its employees because politicians get alot of money, the gap between politicians in Kenya and that in Tanzania is like sky and earth, but Tanzania politicians work harder than Kenyans, even civil servants Kenya get more money than Tanzania, still Kenyans are corrupt. The problem is that if there is bid gap among rich and poor, you will always get problems of workers strikes, corruption and others

Then tell me what is the single leading contributing factor to literacy. Education has a direct major impact on literacy level and for that case, quality education.
Kenyan education system is ranked the best in Africa my friend.

My point is, Kenya does not allow the cost of education to compromise it's quality.

My point is, Kenya does not allow the cost of education to compromise it's quality.
But according to your ministry of education report, there is no any relationship between cost and quality education, because most private schools which charge higher fees, they have poor quality of education, just what they need is money, they don't care about quality

Iv told you dont quote me u brainless LDC nigga..I'll just ignore ur stupidity henceforth...
