Mombasa area is literally attached to Kenya… mostly same continuous land… but Zanzibar is a separate entity, an Island….. big difference… Tanganyika is too poor and that has an effect on how Zanzibar operate its affairs….as long as major economic decisions are controlled by CCM from Dar or Dodoma, Zanzibar will never see its potential….The Hong Kong of Africa will just remain a dream…maybe one day you will thank me..
