It's very sad that you brag about having most cheap and fake Chinese boxes yet you aren't even allowed to assemble them by yourselves. A country that doesn't majorly use them is now the country which assemble them East African market.

It's true that fast food restaurants are everywhere but their food is junk, no matter how you slice it. Until recently, they never used to display the nutritional information on their products. The rise of obesity and cardiovascular issues has made the FDA to institutes rules to force them to display these facts.

America is a very indoctrinated society, it's not obvious to a causal observer because of how sophisticated it is. When it comes to fast food industry, the FDA, because of lobbying (corruption), they keep a blind eye on what restaurant cartels do to make a profit. For example, marketing to children at a very young age...

For years, McDonald's has been giving toys to kids and have them play at Playplaces, they even have a clown (Ronald McDonald) to entertain these kids at their restaurants. As they get older, these memories at McDonald's never go away, they become life time customers.
I don’t understand about all this… this beyond the real content of the discussion related to my response…. You are getting into the politics of the industry but my response was in relation to your fellow Tanzanian who said such foods are for the poor so to criticize their presence in Kenya… so address that topic…hio ingine peleka kwa food politics 101…😂

I live in the United States too, in fact, and have studied systems of inequalities in the US. Nobody ever said that fast food chains aren’t found in relatively wealthy areas, except they are mainly concentrated in low income areas, which are typically occupied by black and Hispanic communities. Something I found really funny about your comment is that you tried to juxtapose fast food chains with luxury designer brand stores, saying that you live in a middle class neighborhood with many fast food restaurants but there’s Gucci and LV stores down the block. Do you think someone who can afford to buy a Louis Vuitton bag couldn’t afford a burger? On the other hand, not every person can just buy a Louis Vuitton bag whenever they like. But they could afford a burger, fries and a milkshake.

What you neglected to mention is where good quality food chains like Whole Foods Market are located. You’ll typically find such stores in high income areas because that’s where their target market is located. We know what we’re talking about.
This is why we can never communicate with Bongolalas….You just lied to our faces… Yes someone from your side posted that such foods are for the poor so to criticize their presence in Kenya… but am sure he would never say that if they were present in Dar…… but he had to feed his inferiority complex syndrome…. So I responded that it’s a misconception about fast food industry in the USA… they are addictive and the fast food market is about demand not class…. You should know that if you really resides here…now proceed from there …

A country with Thriving middle class. All these tall buildings under construction are residential buildings, even before construction is done all the room has been fully booked. Something like this can't happen in Tz because of poverty.
