So if you believe in the term African American, then you should also believe in Kenyan American…. Let me educate you kilaza… if one of your parents that you identify with have direct connection to a country, then you can claim that identity too… unless many generations removed like the African Americans… who use the term Africa because they have no identity of which country or place their ancestors were picked from, just a generalization….so terms like Cuban American, Mexican American etc are fully embraced in American society…. So Obama could easily pass for a Kenyan American except his Father was absent in most of his life…. Why do you think Trump and the birther movement went after his birth certificate during 2008 elections?… it was an effective political weapon ..but same concept would never work for another African American but it did for Obama…. Why?…because his Father has a direct connection to Kenya…. Now you know..
