Don’t blame the model… it’s alright…..but the issue is management of devolved finance and resources… the problem in Kenya is not money…we even have a strong middle class… but corruption…I will keep my mouth shut if you yell from the roof top… its a monster that has held us back in ways you cannot imagine…

The problem in Kenya is not corruption alone but also in part attributed to nursing a fake economy. Ujuaji mwingi ambao hauna maana.

Why then some counties are shutting down do you know why?
Let me tell you the counties receive money from the Central treasury which technically is under the Central government with President as the head so Governors indirectly lick The president ass to get funds to run the counties.

County governments are entitled to not less than 15% of the national budget and it's not at the will of the national government. Furthermore they also collect some taxes which used to go to the national government, like land rates, property taxes etc
