The correct wording should be:-
'..............their opinions/judgement/viewpoint/belief have been proven false'
or simply
'...................they had misconceptions about us.'

Sasa mradi wa SGR Dar - Moro ambayo ilikuwa ikamilike November 2019 hadi sasa May 2022 bado haijazinduliwa. Sasa uzinduzi wa JNHPP umesongezwa mbele kutoka June 2022 hadi mwaka wa 2024.

we kenyans stereotype tanzania as a poor country, its pipo are laidback, lazy, illiterate, not affluent, use only kiswahili as official cum franca lingua, lacking exposure and what have you..He is not proficient!
One thing I have noticed about most of kunyans is ;, they are full of prijudice when it comes her neighbours! Mostly Tanzania but luckily some of the misconceptions have proved to be wrong!
