Outering road ni uchafu usitaje, SGR haijakamilika, labda useme Thika.

Sisi pia miradi mingi tu imekamilika BRT phase 1, 3 level interchange, kimara-kibaha ipo kwenye final touch n.k

4)Can accommodate speed up to 200km/hr
1) Continous welded is not superior to bolted, it's just an alternative. Furthemore, is welding the 'superior technologies' you talk of? Yani hivi kuna kijiji humu duniani ambacho hakina mtu anayejua kuweld? Some of you people are funny.

3. We can buy electrical locomotives even for the MGR if we wish. electrical vs diesel is just the mode of locomotion
4. Kenya's SGR can accomodate those speeds too.

Kenya can't ekectrify it's low stardard SGR for the next 50yrs to come, kama hamuwezi kumalizia kipande kilichobaki hadi Malaba mumeamua kuzitisha hapo porini, vipi mtaweza kuweka umeme?.

Jointed railway can't support speed above 120km/hr, go and check with your engineer will confirm this.

3)Low running costs
4)Low maintenance costs
5) Environmental friendly
6)Serving foreign currencies
7) High speed

First of all, there is nothing like electrical ENGINES. Engines use diesel, petrol, coal, aviation fuel etc. Learn that and come back so that I can tell you the difference between an SGR and a locomotive.
