The 4.5km is for Waiyaki way- Redhill link road you idiot. Waiyaki way is 11km within Nairobi city and extends 35km outside Nairobi City within Nairobi metro. That makes it longer than any Dual Carriageway in Tanzania. Usidhani Nairobi ni Dar es Salaam buda.

The answer is simple: they don't have bypasses in Dar

40km total, that's less than Thika road alone that is 54km na sijataja zile zingine 23. I am not underestimating Dar, I am simply saying, it is not on Nairobi's level in terms of dual carriageways. Labda mjaribu Mombasa.
