Konza city is progressing well it is a vision 2030 project so what is itching youSadly I know how this business works. African politicians loves big dreams.. and often they do not question the realization of these dreams once presented to them.
Na hii, its simply because that's who they are.. dream sellers. They sell the grand dreams to people.. and hide behind complications and difficulties of realization plans..once they can't deliver.
Planning and Architectural firms are minting money off this; simply feeding the government officials with Grand Dreams like Konza City and what it will do for them globally, goes ahead and makes a 3.D mockup.. and that's what politicians love because it's easy to sell to their people and get re elected..
When we dive into implementation thats when most of these projects turns into white elephant projects.. maana venye mumeambiwa haiko hivyo kwa ground.. detailed design and revisions will cost double the cost of the entire master plan..and construction start shooting upward and before you know it.. project is abandoned or given an option for developers to buy into the project..
Na mkicheza with inflated costs mnaweza kukuta mmejenga the entire city kwa pesa yenyu and only owning 20pc of it.. who falls for that.. definitely not TZ.
