Blimey, this is controversial. Coleman drifts from midfield and spots LOUIS SAHA making a run beyond Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou. Coleman clips through and although Saha looks suspiciously offside the linesman's flag remains down and Saha duly drills past Wojciech Szczesny from 18 yards.



'1-0 to the referee' sing the home supporters, who just won't let it go. I imagine they're so annoyed as Mr Mason went over to have that conversation with said linesman straight after the goal. And presumably the linesman was confused because Koscielny got that looped touch on Coleman's pass for the goal. He's in the wrong profession if he was confused about that, because either way the ball was meant for and going through to Louis 'I'm two yards offside' Saha.


Replays confirm that Saha was a good yard or two offside. Laurent Koscielny helped the ball on but only after Coleman's pass has travelled a good distance to Saha. Loud boos ring round the Emirates and you have to say the assistant referee has got that badly wrong. Lee Mason even had a word with him before Arsenal kicked play off again, just to confirm his decision.


So a huge sense of injustice at the Emirates and the boos have continued for a good few minutes. Arsene Wenger is, as you can imagine, fuming. Great finish from Saha by the way, we shouldn't take that away from him.
