Why Dr. Slaa is now politically speaking “damaged goods”!

FJM......politically speaking.........the guy is "damaged goods" but does not mean he is beyond correction..............

I disgree. Nenda mikoani ndio utaona tofauti kubwa! If any thing, mashambulizi dhidi yake yamethibitisha one thing: Ni tishio.

Ng'wamapalala who knows even damaged goods can be repaired...............you are certainly right.......
Yes, Dr. Willbroad Slaa is damaged but not on such level you would like people to believe, but again, the party (CHADEMA) still intact while the CCM party is damaged as a whole.

CHADEMA has to realise the time is not in their hand. The question is this, are they thinking still have time to repair the damage taking into account, the issue of constitution, CHADEMA internal election and council election before general election.

As I have said before, it's still in their hand.

Ng'wamapalala Thank you for realizing.......only the truth will set you free..................and now you have been freed from the tortures of denying the truth........................read red parts for further considerations.

Pamoja na hoja kuonekana kama kuna 'upenyo' it is not easy as you are trying to suggest.

I have no doubt with Dr. Slaa's intentions of a better Tanzania and his fights against extensive and somewhat disturbing acts of corruption that are happening under the current administration. For I have witnessed kids that come to study in the UK these days, kids of 'public serving' parents, with these teens having 30,000 pounds in their accounts or receiving grants of up to £2,500 a month is norm.

Nevertheless even with a poorly supervised government and its vast toothless policing bodies such as the parliament, PCCB, TAKUKURU, CAG etc which allows those acts to occur in the first place, Tanzania has many other extensive social and economical problems that require a serious reformist and Dr. Slaa, isn't one to be honest, nor i have yet to encounter a rhetoric development argument on his speeches.

If you ask the English to name one of their greatest modern times hero 'Winston Churchill' will most likely top the chart. Therefore you know if you where to ask for their best PM in that same era his name will top that list too.

Hence it is the same people that accepted the truth of the matter, despite him guiding them through the challenging times of the war, he was not cut to build a nation that was bombed, under huge debts and with a very poor economy: as a result just after the war he lost the following election.

Its just facts of life we are not good at everything, that is to say if Dr. Slaa is a patriot of the nation he should know his limits and his fitting role in the future if opposition were to win. So far he is doing fine but he should let go on the presidential dream because in my opinion he has yet to demonstrate abilities of the challenges that lie ahead in life after CCM. Despite him doing well with raising people's curiosities in their national politics. That is my take it doesn't mean I am right.

Nenda China,Korea,Japan wote wanatumia lugha zao.

Rutashubanyuma.. we have no choice kwa kweli coming 2015.... A seemingly tired-too much baggage and clueless CCM cadre VS The Vultures-like Political artisans and opportunists of CDM...I pity my fellow voters

Rutashubanyuma,

This is a nice read but I must not doubt you are a plagiarist!! You have not been objective, you have been biased againt Dr. Slaa as a person and CHADEMA as a party. This is where you have failed, CCM is inflicting wounds on CHADEMA and is not on CCM, CUF, TLP and other parties (small mindedness creeps in here). You have failed to realize the differences between CCM and CHADEMA and other parties emanate from grievances people have over what are the right ways of doing this or that. You have failed to appreciate the blunders CCM has put us through. You have failed to see the need to a change, even from within CCM itself. For you, a different standard bearer by CCM is a change enough to propel us forward. It's not about change of ideologies, practices et al!!

Dr. Slaa is just ONE of those people (who think outside the box) and it's wrong to see that big group of people as carrying only HIS ways of doing things. In other words, it is right to say what is happening (right or wrong) is JK's way of doing things and he should not get away with it. Many times his sympathizers have come up with sick notes like "anashauriwa vibaya, watumishi wanamwangusha" and the like.

Reads like these will come and go before citizens go to the polls come 2015.

Mark my words. This country has changed, people have seen light. Wade of Senegal does not provide any lessons to Tanzanians, we have actually never learnt anything from anyone - this explains out state of affairs!!!

I just hope you will give us an opportunity to learn a thing or two about Prof. Lipumba, Dr. A. Mrema, J. Mbatia et al, too. Otherwise, the objectivity in your post is seriously lacking and probably we will have a chance to see your own work!!

Good comment
