Like I said that's just my thinking, well largely shaped by what the media's been pumping out really, and Gupta-esque like stories even though not negatively implicating her directly, don't do her any favors either. I would, however, hasten to agree with you on the way Obama has run his campaign, he's run a clean one so far, but unfortunately the same cannot be said of Clinton.
I remember watching Clinton make a mockery of Obama and it was a major put off really; she did a poor job at belittling Obama and a good one at embarassing herself, you could see some faces in the audience cringe, I tell you. "The sky will open, a light will shine down, all problems will go away..."
Obama isn't doing himself any favors by steadfastly rehearsing his "change we can believe in" monologue day in day out and it seems to be wearing out with time, at least that's what I think. I mean he needs to put to rest the experience issue that Clinton has been touting around, he doesn't need to run a smear campaign and he shouldn't, but just point the people in the right direction, as it were.
