In November 2001, U.S. forces recovered a videotape from a destroyed house in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, in which bin Laden is seen talking to Khaled al-Harbi and admits foreknowledge of the attacks. The tape was broadcast on various news networks from December 13, 2001. His distorted appearance on the tape has been attributed to tape transfer artifact. On December 27, 2001, a second bin Laden video was released. In the video, he states, "Terrorism against America deserves to be praised because it was a response to injustice, aimed at forcing America to stop its support for Israel, which kills our people", but he stopped short of admitting responsibility for the attacks.
Shortly before the U.S. presidential election in 2004, in a taped statement, bin Laden publicly acknowledged al-Qaeda's involvement in the attacks on the U.S. and admitted his direct link to the attacks. He said that the attacks were carried out because "we are free...and want to regain freedom for our nation. As you undermine our security we undermine yours." Osama bin Laden says he had personally directed his followers to attack the World Trade Center Another video obtained by Al Jazeera in September 2006 shows Osama bin Laden with Ramzi bin al-Shibh, as well as two hijackers, Hamza al-Ghamdi and Wail al-Shehri, as they make preparations for the attacks.[120]

A senior Pakistan military official has told India Today that it was impossible for the army to have not known that Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden was in Abbottabad.

This has further fuelled speculation that Osama was killed in an ISI safehouse. Bin Laden was killed in the operation between late on Sunday night at a mansion in Abbottabad, 80 km north of Islamabad.

The cantonment town houses many military institutions including Pakistan's Military Academy at Kakul where most of its military elite including present chief General Kayani have passed out.

The joint operation of Pakistani troops and American special forces that killed Osama bin Laden did not encounter any fierce resistance from the Al Qaeda chief's bodyguards. "There was minimal resistance and none of the troops in the operation were injured," the official told India Today.

Sources say this was unusual for a high-value target like bin Laden who was normally surrounded by dozens of his elite bodyguards. No one was willing to talk about how many troops took part in this operation. Laden's body was transported to Bagram airbase near Kabul, Afghanistan.

Pakistan-US intelligence agencies got a tip-off last Friday that Osama was hiding somewhere in Abbottabad. After tracing the exact location, a joint operation was carried out by special troops of Pak & US special forces, which finally killed Osama Bin Laden along with some of Al Qaeda operatives.

However, a spokesperson of Inter Services public relations Major General Athar Abbas declined comment. The Pakistan Foreign Office has stated that bin Laden was killed in an "intelligence driven operation" around Abbottabad in the early hours of this morning. "The operation was carried out by US forces in accordance with the declared US policy that Osama bin Laden will be eliminated in a direct action by US forces wherever found in the world,"' the statement said.

According to an official source from the office of President of Pakistan, President Zardari and US President Barack Obama held a telephonic conversation this morning and congratulated each other on eliminating a high valued target.

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan - Millions of people worldwide are demanding that the death of Osama Bin Laden be proven with the release of his long form death certificate.
"I don't believe he's dead until I see his long form death certificate. I saw a few photoshopped pics but I want to see the actual long form," an Osama bin Laden death doubter revealed to CNN.


The remarkable timing of Osama's death was also cited by Osama death unbelievers, who also questioned the efficacy of the incredible announcements from the desperate Obama administration who are gearing up for re-election next year.

Usama bin Laden has been buried at sea, a U.S. official told Fox News.

After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, the official said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition.

That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.
