Jamaa kua gay mbona sio issue? Issue ni kutembeza udaku. Hivi contributuon yake maishani mwako ni his play (and the entertainment he brings to your life) au his sexual life? How him being gay is an OMG case? Watu bwana!
Right on Roulette!
Him being gay or straight is none of our (or more precisely - my) business. I have never seen the point of people who are gay to come out.
I mean, come out for what? Heterosexuals don't come out so why should homosexuals come out?
I think it's just a way to get attention and in the process you will get all sorts of opinions including OMGs, SMDHs, etcetera, etcetera.
To me whether someone is gay or not is a non-issue that does not need coming out in any way. But in today's world where everybody has an opinion and they can air them in all sorts of ways and instantly promulgate them to a worldwide audience, expect to get all kinds of reactions once you come out.
Yesterday, soon after dude came out, some wide receiver [Mike Wallace] for the Miami Dolphins tweeted and shook his head as to why with all these beautiful women around the world someone [Jason] would want to mess with other men.
He later deleted his tweet but it was too late. His team had to distance itself from his comments. So that's the world we live in today.
Also, just yesterday I found out that Martina Navratilova is/was also gay. She came out back in 1981 (were you in diapers back then?). But back then there was no twitter, instagram, tumblr, facebook, or internet for that matter.
