.
I have lived in Kenya, lets not be cheated by the buildings in Nairobi, kenya rural is much more poorer than Tanzania, we need to be carefull especially with the formulation of large scale farming, as most of this turns the farmers in the peripheral to become underpaid casual labourers, that why Kenya has always suffered food shortage, multinational who owns large tracts of land , don't care whther kenyans have food or not, they care about world prices and margins. Tanzania have much more ample land , while Kenya is encroached by the Desert from the North, and we still have virgin land while the big oligarch families in kenya like the kenyatta's or other kikuyus owns more than 50% of the arable land in kenya. They have very rich people and very very poor people all clustered in Kibera, mathare valley etc. Thus Tanzanians dont be cheated by the night lights in Nairobi, life is just too artificial. If we stop them coming to Tanzania, and not be forced in monetary union , the next five years they will definitely come to beg us for food, more or less thay are stealing the same from mang'ola, up to dodoma, lets all be aware of that
