Usisema Tanzania ya leo ni bora bali sema dunia ya leo ni bora kuliko ya miaka kadhaa iliyopita. Kumbuka kipindi cha Nyerere Tanzania ilikuwa inaendana kiuchumi na nchi nyingi kama akina indonesia, lakini Tanzania ya leo ipo nyuma kimaendeleo ukilinganisha na nchi tulizokuwa nazo sawa kiuchumi enzi za mwalimu.
Crap!Tanzania ilikuwa sawa kuichumi na nchi nyingi kwa sababu Wazungu walipomuachia nchi Nyerere, Tanzania ilikuwa na Hospitali nzuri, barabara nzuri, nk. Baada ya Nyerere kuanza kutawala akatuletea Ujamaa, na chuki zake binafsi kwa wafanyabiashara. Kitu kilichoiangusha Tanzania, mpaka leo. Naona umeshapata jibu kwamba Nyerere ndiye aliyedidimiza Tanzania Kielimu, na Kiuchumi. Hapo ndipo utaamini kwamba Mwinyi alikuja kuikomboa Tanzania. God bless our Pres. Alhaji Ally Hassan Mwinyi.

Watu wengi sana wanashindwa kuelewa kuwa ukitaka kungalia maendeleo angalia huduma kwa jamii na wala sio wingi wa vitu madukani.
There is no vision in politics. Most visionary leaders had or have ruined their countries. This is because if you have a visions, apparently you would like to fulfill your visions at any costs. Take the example of our own beloved Nyerere, Kaunda, Mugabe and other so called visionary. They spent a considerable amount of time to fight for impractical things. To that end Mwinyi was not a visionary leader but pragmatic one. He knew that there are things that private citizens can do better than their own government.
Anyway, to discuss past presidents two weeks before the general election shows that Tanzania are not serious about their own future. Nyerere and Mwinyi present a distance past. The future that defines your nation is two weeks away, why don't you take a look at it.
And who among Kikwete, Lipumba and Dr Slaa are following Mwinyi's principles, if I may ask? And by the way, Mwinyi's principles, if they had been left unchecked, would have bankrupted the country. People were not paying taxes, the government was broke by the time Mkapa came in. Talk about principles!How can I vote if I don't study the past mistake that were made by the our former Presidents. If any candidate told me as voter, that he will be same as Nyerere, what do you think I should do? I will vote, NO, NO, NO FOREVER, against his party, and his ideology. In this manner we want the voter to understand that Mwinyi ideologies are the FOUNDATION TO OUR FUTURE. So we should vote to any candidate who follow Mwinyi principles.
It amazes me that those in support of Mwinyi call those against Mwinyi "wadini" but if you look at them they also support Mwinyi simple because he is of the same religion as them. Is there any differenct between being against someone because of their religion and being for someone due to his religion? All those are examples of "udini" just in different angles.
I see a lot of people when you say you are against Kikwete or Mwinyi they run to the issue of religion. It is not in my best interest or my nation to support someone simple because I am afraid of what people of his religion would think or whether or not they would get offended. I am a Christian but I believe both Mkapa and JK have been a waste of our past 15 years. That said Mwinyi was no visionary. If he was a visionary then things would be very different today.
