Making his 250th appearance for the club, the Spaniard was typically excellent in goal. United may have had a numerical advantage, but De Gea was still called upon to bail them out and he made several fine stops.
1.
M. Darmian
Did not do too much wrong in the first half but was sacrificed at the break as Mourinho looked to up the ante with an attacking change.
36.
P. Jones
Probably made a bit much of the early 50/50 which saw Feghouli sent off, but in general he continued his strong recent form, appearing in the right place at the right time more than once.
4.
M. Rojo
Looked composed in possession and commanding - but fair - in the tackle, though he almost gifted Antonio a goal, with De Gea bailing him out for a poor pass and awful positioning to play the striker onside.
5.
A. Valencia
Solid at the back and an outlet going forward - the Ecuadorian was unspectacular but effective, even if he missed a sitter in the first half.
25.
P. Pogba
Saw a lot of the ball, with almost all of United's attacks going through the imposing Frenchman. Always an assuring presence in possession and went close to scoring twice.
6.
J. Lingard
Barely had a kick in the first half and inexplicably hit the post from five yards when it was easier to score. Eventually replaced by Rashford, who made an instant difference.
14.
H. Mkhitaryan
Struggled to make much of an impact from the left flank, getting very little change from Nordtveit who kept him on a short leash. Replaced by Smalling just after the first goal.
22.
Ander Herr...
Positive as ever in possession, as he consistently looked to offload it quickly and inject a bit of tempo to United's play. His pressing was brilliant and ultimately got him an assist, as he closed down Obiang's clearance and knocked the ball through to Ibrahimovic.
21.
M. Carrick
Kept things ticking in midfield and his distribution was good, but when West Ham broke forward he was often left looking like a bit of a bystander. Dropped to centre-back after Mata's introduction and that helped, while he played a big role in the opener from there.
16.
Z. Ibrahimovic
Did not get involved a great deal in the first half, with his only real sniff seeing him waste a good chance. But after the break he was more involved and he wrapped things up towards the end with a smart finish, even if he was offside.
9.
C. Smalling
Put on in place of Mkhitaryan with 25 minutes to go in an attempt to shore things up and he was perfectly able, helping to keep Carroll as quiet as he was.
12.
Mata
Introduced for Darmian at half-time and made a telling contribution, using the ball smartly and then scoring a well-taken goal. A strong second-half from the Spaniard.
8.
M. Rashford
Replaced the ineffective Lingard just before the hour-mark and was a huge upgrade. Absolutely terrorised Nordveit and set up Mata for the opener - United's best attacking player.

Good match
Inatia moyo sana at least kushinda mechi hizi.

Refa kawaumiza kidogo west ham but its okey

Mechi mbili mfululizo nimeona Mou kafanya sub zenye effects(nilikuwa nalia naye sana kwenye subs)

Lingard is still a garbage, toka kitambo naliamini hili, awaachie wengine wacheze.

I think winning feels good
