De Gea
Had very little to do on the day, doing his best to prevent Arsenal's second with a good save initially to deny Welbeck.
1.
M. Rojo
Didn't cover himself in glory by failing to read Ozil's free-kick which set Welbeck, before coming off injured.
5.
G. Varela
Made a couple of important interventions late on to shut the door on Arsenal, doing so after being booked very early on. Curled in the cross which set Rashford up for his first.
30.
D. Blind
Stood firm alongside Carrick by clearing away danger several times in no-nonsense fashion.
17.
J. Lingard
Sent in a great cross from the right-hand side which set Rashford up for his second.
35.
M. Carrick
Picked up an early yellow card but kept his cool for the rest of the game, making a couple of important tackles in and around the box.
16.
Mata
Had a hand in all of United's goals through his crisp passing, in what was a decisive performance from him.
8.
M. Schneide...
Allowed Welbeck to run past him in the build up to Arsenal's opening goal.
28.
Ander Herrera
Benefited from Schneiderlin anchoring to get forward well, scoring a brilliant goal which made the difference.
21.
M. Depay
United's best attacking threat for long spells, impressing by taking Bellerin down the line more rather than always looking to cut inside.
7.
M. Rashford
His week got even better by scoring a well-taken brace in the first half, before getting his head up to find Herrera for United's third.
39.
J. Weir
Came on for a matter of seconds as United ran down the clock.
47.
T. Fosu-Men...
Drove forward well from left-back after replacing Rojo in the second half.
51.
A. Januzaj
Looked sharp on the break as United were forced to counter-attack after scoring their third.
