YALIYOJIRI KWENYE PRESS CONFERENCE ALIYOFANYA KLOPP NA VVD

Virgil van Dijk: "We have played well against them. We scored three good goals and then defended as a unit, so we're pretty confident. They need to come, but we need to be ready. We want to win the game."

[HASHTAG]#MCFC[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#LFC[/HASHTAG]

Klopp: "If we score five it would be difficult for Manchester. I know it's not really likely, it's about being really stable in the game, being really lively, being energetic, trying to cause them problems."

Van Dijk: "I came to Liverpool to achieve everything that's possible. That it happened in the winter was obviously fantastic news for my family. I think it went pretty well."

Klopp: "I don't think that City will be worse next year. They've had a fantastic but they are human beings, thank god. They had two results nobody really expected, but we had to play our best to bring that, and United were a little bit lucky using the situation."

Klopp on Man City's hard week: "When we lost here 5-0 everybody saw the quality of City. We all know about Pep, the best manager in the world. It was clear they would be outstanding, but there is no perfect football team in the world."

Van Dijk: "It's pretty clear that defending a 3-0 lead here will be a bit of a strange situation. We have to have the mindset that it's still 0-0. We want to win the game, we know we can defend pretty well. We saw that in second half last week." [HASHTAG]#LFC[/HASHTAG]

The layout of the Etihad means both team coaches will use different entrances upon arrival. City will head to the main entrance, where they will be warmly greeted by their own fans, while Liverpool will use a tunnel that leads to the dressing rooms.

Van Dijk: "We need to stay calm, that's the main thing. We're not going to think about conceding early. We're going to try and do the same thing we did in the first half against them."

Klopp on Salah's availability: "We have to see. We have to wait for the reaction tomorrow. Then we'll make a decision. That's it."

Klopp on Liverpool as 'favourites': "I'm not interested in these kinds of labels, 'favourites' and 'underdogs'. It's common sense if you play in the Champions League against the 'winner' of the Premier League you're not favourites."

Pep Guardiola: "Liverpool are so well defensively organised - we saw that in the second half at Anfield. It won't be easy to create chances against them, but we will try."

[HASHTAG]#MCFC[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#LFC[/HASHTAG]

Klopp: "City always play (attacking). If you saw the first half against United, they could have scored six goals! Their quality will not be a surprise to us. We have to be at our best."

[HASHTAG]#MCFC[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#LFC[/HASHTAG]

Van Dijk on City: "They have so much quality, they're going to win the league - that's not for no reason. But we know their strengths, we know their weaknesses. We need to be 100% to finish the game."
