God is a Supreme being, perfect One, how can He pretend as a man?
Acts 20:28Who suffered the pains of the Jews was jesus god or jesus man?
Isaiah 55:8God is a Supreme being, perfect One, how can He pretend as a man?
He is infinite and we are finite. Why should we even be expected to fully comprehend an infinite God!God is a Supreme being, perfect One, how can He pretend as a man?
Jesus is 100% man and 100% God my friend. Early christians had a similar struggle as yours, do some research on the early church and you will be enlightened.what do you have you to say on this incidence?
One story about Jesus in the bible that is confusing and incoherent is the story of the fig tree. Matthew 21:18-19 states, "Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered."
1. Jesus was hungry (God hungry?)
2. He cursed the fig tree because it wasn't bearing fruit.
A).God didn't know the tree didn't have fruit
B). He cursed a perfectly good tree that was only conforming to its nature to bear fruit in the season God designed it to.
3. The Human nature of Jesus overrode his divine nature and cursed the tree.
For me 3 is an incredibly huge problem. His "divine" nature did not stop his human nature from curse.
Nb
Plz avoid your emotions while answering and reasoning this out. plz.
Thats exactly the point He can do whatever he want and whenever he want even becoming a Man and walk among us. You want to tell me God power has limitations?God is a Supreme being, perfect One, how can He pretend as a man?
Thanks!Thats exactly the point He can do whatever he want and whenever he want even becoming a Man and walk among us. You want to tell me God power has limitations?
Jesus is not an Angel( the lowest level of all heavenly beings after Jesus' resurrection) In fact he is God and he was there since the beginning. Bible says God created everything through his words and who is GOD's words according to bible?
Hellow lloyde996 and GentleGiant, Please bear with me as this is going to be a bit long, read it with an open mind and consider the bible evidence regardless what we have been taught in the past on the subject.you have read the Bible you would have came with different conclusion unless you say The Bible is corrupted. Christians came with the conclusion that Jesus is God not by wishing but stated facts all over the Bible.
Jesus was never created by anyone, the Bible states he was there before creation.
Lets just see this word from Jesus himself from John 17:5
"Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed."
Here this was Jesus prayer after his work is finished here on Earth.I wont deal with every word i will just deal with the fact he said he had the glory with the The Father before the world existed. Now let us ask ourselves if he was before the world was created who was he then?an angel?because we all know that If he was a man he must have been created after the World was created.
Also we can't speculate he was an Angel because there is more comparison of Jesus to Man more than to angel.Beside there is nothing which says he is an angelic being. Biblically there are so much eveidence showing he is God.So before thinking otherwise ask yourself if you believe in The Bible if not then there is no way to prove it to you because everything we know about him we first read it in his Word.
Thank you Kapunika.Hellow lloyde996 and GentleGiant, Please bear with me as this is going to be a bit long, read it with an open mind and consider the bible evidence regardless what we have been taught in the past on the subject.
1. was Jesus CREATED? Colossians 1:15 says: Jesus is the image of the invinsible God, the Firstborn of all creation; if you read the book of Revelation 1:1 it is here said that revelation was given to Jesus Christ by God, then on chapter 3:14 Jesus is said to be the beginning of the creation by God.
ok brothers, just when was he created? there is a clue in the book of Proverbs 8:22-31 Please read it in your own bibles as it is a long one and i can't quote it here...Jesus here, being the first to be created says, he was produced as the beginning of God's way. he says as God was preparing the heavens he was already there (but produced of course by God.) before the creation of the earth, oceans and everything Jesus was there and he helped his father in the work of creating. Note here; Jesus wasn't the creator but a helping hand helping his father. he always credited his father with the creation see Matthew 19:4-6.
Precisely, the position of Jesus is a lofty one compared to that of angels but still yet he is not the Father himself. was he Godly Then? yes indeed. he stayed with his father for i don't know how many billions of years... lazima Ukuu na utukufu na Umungu wa baba yake ulimuathiri, he is the only one called the son of God and rightly so. well, lets pause here a bit and if needed we will dig for some more evidence that father and son aren't equal age wise.
Asante sana mkuu. Hapo kwenye purple and red!Thank you Kapun
Thank you Kapunika.
First let me help you understand one thing about Proverb 8 not just verse 22-31.This chapter doesn't talk about Jesus,The said chapter is talking about WISDOM.Here wisdom personify itself and talk as a person.Read the whole chapter from the beginning and you will see Wisdom talking about itself.
The concept of FIRSTBORN doesn't necessarily mean something was created first. It talks about the position of power and supremacy.Lets go back to the story of Jacob and Esau. The Bible tells us Esau sold his firstborn right to his liitle brother Jacob due to some meal. Here we could argue he was already born how then could he sell his position as the firsborn?
Here is the answer, when the Word of God is talking about the firstborn it talks about being first in the eyes of God.Despite his 100%divity he was 100% man so Paul in His letter to Collosians 1 verse 15 he is talking about the position of Jesus as a man in the eyes of God.
In the eyes of God there is firstborn in every aspect. There is a firstborn in the family(Older sibling),there is firstborn in the Nation(the highest position commonly the president),there is firstborn nation (Israel). In fact lets take a look at this verse
"You shall tell Pharaoh, ‘Yahweh says, Israel is my son, my firstborn," Exodus 4:22
Here God didn't mean that Israel was the first nation he created,he simply said in his eyes Israel was the Supreme nation among all nations. He meant that he placed that nation in the position of power. The World will be blessed through her and she will receive double portion inheritance.(The Study of Firstborn is a very interesting subject we will look at it another time).
I hope i have cleared something for you my friend.

The so called "Son of God", JesusVery simple, Jesus was 100% God and 100% a Man, like the way you are in different position according to time and place, you are 100% a father, according to position and capability you can be 100% an Husband, You can be 100% a son of your father, You can be 100% an uncle. So Jesus's capability was beyond the nature of human being, He was both God as well as Man.
(Samahan kwa kiingereza hicho)
Je ! Baba halisi wa kibaiyolojia wa Yesu ni nani According to Bible.Well JESUS was 100% human and 100% GOD(this is very confusing of course), open ur minds brethren..... Jesus was born like any other human, he spent 9months in the womb of a woman like any other human, he had to do work(carpentry) to earn money like any other human, sometimes he felt hunger just like any other human....YESU ALIISHI KAMA BINADAMU NA WALA HAKUVUKA AU HAKUKWEPA STAGES ZOZOTE ZA UKUAJI....so he was 100% human and that human soul was the one that died in that cross, UUNGU HAIKUFA(that GODLINESS did Not die)
JESUS was 100% GOD, when he was on earth he forgave the sins of the wicked, and the bible tells us there's only one lawmaker and only one who can forgive and Jesus forgave when he was on earth, he was 100% GOD, the bible says JESUS will judge and punish the wicked and the bible also tells us theres only one judge and one punisher and that is GOD, so tell me how would Jesus fit in that role if he wasn't GOD and he wasn't the lawmaker???
Long story short, Jesus was the one who created this universe and all the things, he was the one that gave moses the ten commandments on mount horeb, he was the one who did all those miracles for the Jews in the wilderness through mosses..... JESUS IS ALL OVER THE OLD TESTAMENT, SOME OF THE PEOPLE AND THE EVENTS WERE PREDICTING THE COMING OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR... EVEN THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM WAS POINTING TO JESUS' DEATH ON THE CROSS
Daaah aisee mambo mengi muda mchache, ntarudi badae kuendelea...
IF U DONT BELIEVE THIS WHILE UR ALIVE, ONCE HE HAS RESURRECTED U IN THE DAY OF HIS COMING, HE WILL COME WITH HIS FULL MIGHT AND HIS FULL GODLINESS TO PROVE IT TO U, STAY WAIT AND SEE
I partially agree with you, one person can't be God and then same person be a man, its a total confusion, its dogmatic belief, en on the side of the existence of Jesus to be a mere myth I don't agree with you, Jesus existed around 2000yrs ago but his devine work ed duties have been exaggerated by fanatics....Jesus was not different from other prophets like Adam Moses Noah etc....The so called "Son of God", Jesus
Probably never existed.
There is no any historical evidence to back up the claim that "Your demigod", Jesus actually walked on the surface of the Earth.
All you know about Jesus, are pretty childish legends written many years ago, by groups of unknown authors, based on teaching of presumably first century Jewish preacher (or rabbi) known as Jeshua bin Yusuph who never claimed to be Messiah or God.
And to debunk your false analogy above
Being Father and Husband at the same time, is in no way similar to "Being Sand and Iron" at the same time
You can never be Human and God at once
100% man..no doubt!
