To help catapult our economy. We are big investors in EAC and we make more trade than you.(Kenya $38m, Uganda $22m, Tz $16m!), according to the recently released report by EAC secretariat. So when you develop your infrastructure it will be for our good!

"..However, the reports note that Kenya gains the most from trade within EAC... $38m..." reads the news

Check it out to verify., wewe ni jasusi wa CCM.,

It's not like you had a mega-strategy in place. UG avoided the Kenyan route because of expensive land compensations. Kwa reli don't forget it's already your business on road. You're only shifting the mode of transportation.

Funny thing is that a bulk of Uganda's trade is from Kenyan manufacturers who are avoiding Kenyan tax

Plus security and Tanga port being protected from seasonal interruptive Monsoon winds! Total EA considered those economic factors on their pick of Tanzanian route! Now if over $10 bln refinery, another $200mln roads n $300mln international airport r being built in Hoima aside pipeline, will it click in ur mind of lucrative chances of an SGR line from Keza to Lake Albert region the future of prosperous Uganda knowing massive nickel deposits sits idle at Kabanga in Kagera without rail to the ports of Tanzania?

JPM knows that, a reason he doesn't give an inch of chance for Malaba-Kampala. He knows efficient Mwanza-Port bell link will discourage Malaba-Kampala link. With his massive investments in wagon ferries n Mwanza port modernization he is already managed to persuade Kenya reverting into Kisumu-Port Bell project a weaker link. Let the map below open ur mind!
