Dear friends of the bongo land;
You know what makes you special? Being original, doing your thing the way you know it best and not just following what people do.
We as Kenyans have had a beautiful culture, which we are so proud of called the Matatu Culture since long ago and no one will tell us that it's now time that we get rid of them. They were there during the time of our fathers and they tell us the stories of how they used the "face me" matatus. Matatu shapes aand specifications have evolved to what we have today (you'll be forgiven to think you're at the club or a fancy aircraft in them)
we shall tell the stories to our coming generation as well, of how we adore the culture of matatu.
This, for example is a 1980's matatu song advert, sensitising matatu drivers against wreck less driving

Matatus have made appearances on popular hit music videos of the 90's and 2000's like in this Necessary Noiz (Nazizi and Wyre) song with matatu route codes

And so much more by likes of Jua Cali, E-sir...

So, NO we aint leaving the matatu culture, it lives on and it will for a long time.

Matatu indusry makes more money compared to BRT, if one matatu can collect 30k per day, zingine ziko hadi na VIP section na Wifi. Pimping one Matatu/nganya can cost over 10 million some of the parts are imported from the US. Matatu reborn industry ICT section is developing an android gaming series which is to compete with other gaming brands such as OVILEX & EA sports.
The culture has also attracted foreigners who marvel at the beasts roaming the streets of Nairobi. proudly made in Kenya!!!! Mko na game gani Developed in Dar ju hamna hata culture ya kuadopt, hamuwezi weka BRT simulator ju BRT ni za wazungu sisi tuna nganya Unlimited made by kenyan yuts!
