Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

The open debates you see in Kenyan media about just everything and more so on economy is a healthy discussion initiated by wananchi to hold the govt to task. We don't wish matters away,we confront all our challenges by the horn! It might look strange or alarm setting to you but that's how we roll over here; Identify,confront,solve/implement! We are just fine!
So ukweli ndio unakutia hasira😀😀😀

true....GDP growth might exceed these projections in coming years...unless we plunge ourselves into a political crisis and enter into a recession, which I doubt, then growth might exceed projected averages...

Political analysts have well documented the stable transitions from incumbent to fresh president unlike when an incumbent is contesting to retain the seat. Cases in point 2002/2013 smooth. Pessimists bank on 2008/2017 scenarios.

in a country founded and cultivated along socialist ideologies, you would think that wealth is spread out among all citizens (Ujamaa)..... but not in Tz...the Arabs have held on tight to all the country's wealth while other black Tanzanians have been reduced to mere beggars and albino hunters, not forgetting famous witches and wizards😀😀😀😀 daktari wa Loliondo and the likes
Are you dreaming, it wouldn't been ranked as the most inclusive economy in Sub sahara Africa, use your brain and ask yourself, if what you are talking about is true, why should Tanzania be ranked as the most inclusive country economically?

So ukweli ndio unakutia hasira😀😀😀

Why are you taking a bitter pill for Kenya's headaches!? Mind you own affairs. Magu is busy castrating and jailing your opposition lot for mere political insults, that's where the dragon is breeding and you should all be harnessing your effort there. Usitumezee panadol 😀😀😀

wachana hata na Nakumatt and Uchumi...what about KCB, Equity, I&M banks which have huge market shares in East Africa...what about Sportpesa? Tanzanian youths are betting their way into bankruptcy while our very own Sportpesa sponsors English clubs...
Every company count in a vibrant economy, for a business oriented person, every transaction is very important, closing of big and reputable companies like Nakumatt and Uchumi is a very big blow for Kenyans and Kenya economy, even if there will be new companies, but it is clear indication that economy is struggling.

those posters written "daktari toka Tanzania" meaning mchawi toka Tanzania zimejaa all over Nairobi...that is their only means of gaining employment...diamond karanga hahaahahha
Tanzania unemployment rate 26%, Kenya 46%

If that is true, then why Kenya economy is the worst perfoming in EAC apart from Burundi and South Sudan?

Can you get your act together or at least learn quick if you won't think straight! Nakumatt/Uchumi woes are borne of poor fiscal management and nothing near poor economy. The same customer base/suppliers that patronize all other Kenyan supermarkets are the ones for the troubled two. Retail business is a matter of loyalty and convenience of which Nakumatt/Uchumi breached. Sing me another song and I'll nod to it if you convince me that customer base has migrated to Mongolia.

yap and it will hit 100 Billion in 2021
Kenya is the economic, financial, and transport hub of East Africa.
To achieve a $100 billion economy by 2020 when the population is expected to reach 50 million means growing per capita income to $2,000. Those working in developmental projects see this as now readily achievable as the country moves from the central system that was the anchor of growth to the now set 47 counties. They also see Kenya Diaspora playing a vital role in investment in Kenya.
With growth rate at 4.6%?.
KE economy just is doing well verbally, but hunger, water scarcity, employment, debts, are not addressed.

And I bet this is just a conservative projection,it might overshoot with all probabilities pointing way up with new confidence in political stability. I know some folks bank on Kenya's high-voltage politics to underrate us but woe unto them, they'll be dissapointed.
Stop nonsense, tangu mpate uhuru hamjaweza kujilisha wala kupambana na upungufu wa ajira, mnafikiria mambo msiyoweza kufikia, kumbukeni ninyi ni failed state, nothing can be attained over there.

And Uhuru killed 60, nothing happened

Economy hurts as Kenyan political stalemate holds
Mimi sitoi kichwani mwangu

lol...those posters were outlawed sometimes back by former Nbo governor. Soon the new governor follows suit and a whole industry collapses. Street kids are being rehabilitated, the export beggars will have no choice but to ship back. I can see their 45B GDP shrinking, no remittances...😉

Hehehe kweli we kichwangumu254 si mtaua hawa vilaza ?? muaonee huruma jamani.
