It's so interesting to see how these Tanzanians associate everything Kibera with Nairobi. Please danganyikans, kibera is not nairobi and Nairobi is not kibera. It could be the bigest slum in this region but who said that Nairobi shouldn't have a slum? Even New York has Harlem. And as far as I know it, the whole of Dar is one unplanned settlement which quslifies to be called a slum. Now take a chill pill, Kibera is undergoing massive transformation. The below photo shoes how sections of the slum have transformed, thanks to government efforts. You should be asking yourselves what your government is doing about tandale, mbagala and the other many slums that surround your capital instead of posting pictures of Kibera.
