According to your logic, Mbeya has a higher GDP and money circulation than Nairobi because it has more banking institutions.
FYI, Kisumu has 34 banking institutions but way more banks.
Again, are you comparing Kisumu city to Mbeya city or Kisumu county to Mbeya region? Mbeya Region is 35,000 sq. km. Kisumu region is 2,000 sq. km. Mbeya is 17 times bigger than Kisumu. Kisumu County has a population of 1,155,574, Mbeya region has a population of 2,343,754. You comparing the two makes no sense. In GDP per capita, Kisumu County is way better at 2492 while Mbeya is at 1,706.

Area size ya square km 2,000 Ina population ya watu 1.1 million, na area ya square km 35,000 Ina population ya watu 2.3 million.
