Why would china fight a war and its on track to have the biggest economy in the world, do you want them to start from scratch again?China is an authoritarian government so data get cooked all the time including close control of their currency. They have many shiny objects but beneath that is a fragile foundation. The positive part is they trend cautiously and use long term planning to their advantage. Otherwise if China was that powerful, they would have taken back Taiwan by now. The only thing stopping them is the heavy presence of the United States military in the Pacific .
