The US has established Kenya as its base of Africa operations ( Africa command assets are already being moved to Lamu one at a time . Also some of the US assets coming to Lamu will be of another level. It will not be ours but it’s good for deterring any potential enemy.

Exactly! It's a win win, situation it's the same way Saudi, qatar, Japan, Taiwan, Israel, Australia, Philippines, The UAE U.K. etc gets to benefit from the the American arm of protection and foreign direct investments from the bases, while the Americans get to project their power.
